Very interesting indeed. If the master models are indeed hand crafted I am thoroughly impressed.

Nice to have the opportunity to look inside GHQ from Germany.

This article says it was posted on June 24, 2009 and I quote the following passage:

"GHQ is producing a set of 1/285 scale buildings and embarking on its first rules venture--a WWII set called Century of Conflict authored by John Fernandes."

Has anyone heard of this new rules set called "Century of Conflict?" Is it replacing MicroArmour the Game?

This article was actually done several years ago, but the process is still the same...as it has been since we started in 1967. Yes, everything is done by hand- the designs, the multi-stepped mold making process, the casting, the quality control of every single casting, the packing, etc. At this point in time it is not possible to get the level of quality that we demand by doing it any other way. We hope that all of our customers have an appreciation for the labor intensive processes that we go through to produce the best miniatures in the world.

The original name for the Micro Armour the Game rules was "Century of Conflict" during playtesting of which I was a part of and still have some copies of early versions with that name.

Judging from when this article was written the rules were still referred to as "Century of Conflict".

Great to finally get a glimpse of GHQ. I hope someday to make a pilgrimage to that place and get a personal tour. That place is like a mecca to me, since i have been collecting this stuff since 1980. Also i was born in 1967 so its like fate. I was destined to by this stuff and have a great appreciation for micro armor and all that GHQ and company have done to give us this world.

Seriously, thanks for the insight. I wish every mini manufacturer had GHQ's passion and dedication.
