I am working also on painting a modern desert US army and a cold war 1980’s woodland army.

I just am wondering what colors I should use on their gear for the wood land gear and what colors for the gear on the modern desert US soldier’s gear.

Or if anyone has close up of their painted modern desert US troops showing the details clearly that would really help and the gear on their woodland soldiers.

I had my gear on my test desert troops painted a light camo brown but was not sure if this was correct color to use.

come on guys someone help me out with my question in my first post. I just need to know what color I should paint the gear on my modern desert infantry I am also working on.

my 2 (euro)cents on this : a green such GHQ Modern helicopter green or a Brown khaki (by a well known Spanish brand)would be, IMO, OK for the desert uniform.
I'd choose the best contrasting colour in all cases.
