Book Store:
Chamblin Bookmine -- 4551 Roosevelt Blvd - 904-384-1685
The above is locale I've gone to. Call them so they can tell you how to get there, as it is below a bridge.
Chamblin's Uptown -- 215 North Laura St. - 904-674-0868

Go to the Roosevelt Blvd location, 55000 squ foot building. Ask for all areas of history, ships, ACW, WW2, etc. If you are really looking, plan for few hours. The 'new location on Laura St, I have not been to yet. It is downtown.

Game shops: SunCoast Comics and games.
Sun Coast Comics

They are moving locations in early Feb, Feb 7 as I recall they expect to be in the new location about 4 miles from where they are currently. Incidently the current and new location will be about 3 miles from Chamberline Bookmine store on Roosevelt Blvd. Mostly Warhammer 40K.

Borderlands: http://jacksonville.citysearch.com/prof ... games.html

Wide variety of gaming. The Jacksonville Garrision plays there monthly.

Hope that info is helpful to you.

Suncoast does not have any historical at all to my knowledge.
Borderlands has some historical, not sure what the have in modern.

Chamberlin Bookmine has lots of books.
