Hi,

Just wondering if the 1944 battalion had changed much from the 1943 battalion? I'm building one using 1 vehicle = 1 vehicle on the table.

I downloaded from Tac News the 1943 and wondered if there were any big changes.

It depends... on whether you are talking about the April 1944 changes to Kstn's or the August changes or the November changes.

Armoured Panzergrenadier Companies are under Kstn 1114. The most common example would be this one:

and a less common one (with MP44 armed troops) with a HQ, 2 rifle platoons, a MG platoon and a heavy weapons platoon is this one:

Another thing to remember is that in the WH the new organisations did not take effect in a unit until it was withdrawn for refit, so on D Day for example almost all WH units would have the Nov 1943 organisation which is pretty much the GHQ combat command pack.
