As I'm working on my Canadian, British, German and possibly some US forces I also want to work on some terrain for the area that each were deployed around. Can anyone tell me where each country had their forces deployed...town, city etc so that I can look on the net for terrain ideas?
That would be great

For the Canadians look for the book, First Clash by Kenneth Macksey. It was written as a ... well here's
Originally written as an official manual in 1985. This book details the efforts of a Canadian mechanized brigade to hold up the Soviet advance for 48 hours during the early stages of WWIII in Central Europe. The text is focused at the Battle Group/Combat Team level, following the activity from the assembly area to performing a withdrawal under pressure.
Lots of terrain described, pictured, and mapped. If your local used bookstores don't have a copy Amazon, ABE, or Alibris would be happy to provide one.

If memory serves the main HQ for the Canadians was Lahr.
Lahr is a city in western Baden-Württemberg, Germany, approximately 38 km north of Freiburg in Breisgau and 100 km south of Karlsruhe. It is the second largest city in Ortenau (district) after Offenburg, and serves as an intermediate economic centre for the cities and towns of Ettenheim, Friesenheim, Kappel-Grafenhausen, Kippenheim, Mahlberg, Meißenheim, Ringsheim, Rust, Schuttertal, Schwanau and Seelbach.
If this is incorrect, please let me know.

A good site that gives lots of maps of where everybody was in a possible NATO Central Front confrontation is here:
http://www.1-33rdar.org/centralfront.htm
If you want a list of what was where for NATO then try Google-ing it. A good place to start might be:

Hope this helps,

Wow! I had been to the 1-33rd Armored site before but somehow missed that page. Thanks! That fills in some gaps for my info as well!
