Hey Guys,

Seems like I haven't finished anything in ages! I just completed some Russian buildings and a couple of KV-2's and wanted to share them. Next up I plan to add some stone walls and other details.

Seriously Tanner, that's some amazing work. You have always managed to achieve the most visible yet subtle shading on your tanks. Every detail just seems to jump out at us as we look at them.

Great stuff!

If in scale, the shiny object between the two tanks looks like a discarding sabot armor piercing projectile for a 6000 mm smooth-bore gun.

Your finished product does just jump off of the page, the colors are beautiful and the surroundings well done. The KV2s look formidable, indeed. Great stuff.

Hey Tanner,
Question for you. I'm sure you have answered this before but I have long forgotten it. Do you use acrylic or enamels with your minis?? They look awesome by the way...I can tell you have a descent camera to photograph you stuff with. That is one of my problems is that i have a point and click and anything under 6" from the lense really doesn't come out well.

Well done. I hope you post more as your minis (both 6mm and 15mm) they motivate me to get back into my workbench and paint!!!!

I use Vallejo Acrylics; I spray most of it through my airbrush which is why it turns out so smooth

Actually I've been using my cell phone for pictures lately, seriously It's an Android phone with a several-megapixel camera but it still probably doesn't rival most point and shoot cameras. Much of my photo success is due to the use of a lightbox... which I got off eBay a few years ago. It wasn't cheap but it's made a world of difference on the types of photos I can produce.

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth.

When I first saw the church my first impression was it was a computerized image the color was so vibrant. Then looked at your blog's pictures on your work are and was impressed again. My area is in the garaga and the workbench is far from neat.

Would love to see your terrain.
