What did Santa Bring You this Christmas
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Santa and the Elvish Pewter Workers of Twin Cities Local 141 left me 3 packs of Soviet 122mm and 152mm howitzers. Enough for 2 full regiments of Soviet Arty (in platoon scale any way). Plus a bunch of Lend Lease 3/4 ton Weapon Carriers and White Scout cars with which I will motorize my 76mm ZIS 3 ATG regiments.
Now I need to order some arty crews and some separate M5 tractors.
Thanks GHQ for the awesome products!

I rec'd 10 more packs of modern French VBCI to go with the th 7 previous packs, also, AH-64D Longbow, 3 packs of Namer, Achzarit, Preditor, some Chinese MLRS & Arty.
Expect New Year purchase of some more VBCI, M2A3 Bradleys and modern German Puma AIFV. Use the VBCI as a substitute for the Patria AMV.
Merry Christmas.

I am impressed that Santa brings you guys the micros you want. More's the good fortune for you.
One year (maybe in the mid-1990s?) my wife and I actually provided each other with our Xmas "Wish Lists". Being the eternal optimist that I am, I put down that I wanted 4 packs of 1/285 T-80 with ERA. (I already had 3 packs, and wanted to complete a 1-to-1 battalion).
She drove 25 miles to the nearest hobby shop that stocks 1/285 micro armor. But ... being confronted with two vendors' products, she bought 1 pack of GHQ, and 3 packs from another vendor.
Well the other guy's models most decidedly did NOT fit in with the GHQ models I had already painted up. So I had to replace them with GHQ models on the Q-T.
Never asked, suggested, nor even hinted that my wife buy me any micros ever again.

Well, I have 40 painted in 3-tone NATO (med green, military brown & black) with antennea. I have 13 painted olive drab and a LAV-25 turret, have 13 ready to put into 3-tone NATO w/ .50cal CROWS weapon station. I snipped off the vision blocks to relicate the Patria AMV. Not sure as of now how I wish to configure the rest except to say to make them Patria AMV for Poland probably or for South Africa. I do not have a really good turret to use for either country's AMV.
Have consider various turrets: Ratel 20, MCV-80, Warrior, LAV-25, OT-64, etc.

Christmas brought me
My wife and kids furthered my fleet with 10 Tower Hill freighters and 10 Montrose APAs
Now I just need another 40 Montrose and 80 Tower Hills to have all the ships of both classes.
The Liberties are gonna take a winning lottery ticket LOL
Hint to those of you who might have list for next year.... provide them with the GHQ web-site and the stock numbers... this has worked well for me each and every year.
THank you sweetie! not that she will read this but I have to say it as I got what I wanted and then some.
Merry Christmas to all and best wishes for a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my fellow collectors and gamers.

Well, after finishing at work Christmas consisted of 4 hours for me.
-Mostly clothes this year, and other stuff that I needed.
-a copy of the Borgias.
My family has never really understood my interest in wargaming, and combined with the lack of any stores in my area it just isn't practical to ask for anything hobby based.
