PLA Type 69s in Iraqi Service Question

Post by Thomaso827 »

After getting the Iraq in the Desert pack and wanting to add a pack of tanks, I bought a pack of Type 69 Is as that is what is identified in the instructions and on the box. I didnt think to look at the image for the model I, and from the catalog image, the models in the Combat Command pack are actually IIs with the skirts. What little I can find on these leads me to think they can be mixed in a company as they should both have a standard 100mm gun with some being up-gunned to 105s and even a few with guns and autoloaders from T-62s. Any thoughts on mixing the Type 69 I and II models inside a company? Thanks for your input.

Okay by me.

When a M829 hits it, it is going through( going in and going out). The side skirts will not matter. Using them, mix them.

They got ripped off during the dash up Kuwait/Basra highway. Pesky F-111's and their paveway bombs.
