AC-86 and AC-87, Can't find them on the website

Post by AllenRockwell »

The new Tomcat and SuperHornet are listed in the printed catalog with a release date of today but I cannot find them on the website available for purchase.

Is the release date just an estimated release date? Am I just WAY too anxious to get my hands on these new products?

Generally new models are released on the last day of the month, and should show up on the first of the following month. GHQ are quite reliable on that, but I have had issues with the website not up dating. I didn't see any of the new releases for the previous batch until a week later, although other forum users clearly could see them. Forced updating of the page did nothing. I've also noticed that for several months now when I post to a thread and tick the 'notify when a reply' option the email will arrive up to three days after the actual reply (which I've already read, because I check the forum over morning coffee).
In short, I suspect that they're up and available, but I can't see them yet either. Now we wait and see if anyone else can see them.

*Edit
The site is updating for me now, as I watch. Not all there yet (but the Pe2 looks good!!)

Our hosts have offered this explanation:
GHQ wrote:We would like to pre-empt any fears about the F-14 and the F/A-18E, they are not up yet. The designer who is working on those had some personal things come up, and they will be slightly delayed. We are in regular contact with him, and they will both be completed very soon. We will post them when they are ready.
See it in full in the "Feb New Releases" thread.
