Re: Show us yer stuff!
I painted this little gem of a Ju88 model a few years back.
About the same time I did these Ju52 on a taxi way some where in North Africa in May 1941.

Chris, I like those trees. Mine are all tiny by comparison and your's look better. A good mix on those bases.
Bill, cool aircraft.
Edit: forgot to ask you Bill, where did you get the decals. (I'm hoping to get some aircraft at years end).

The aircraft look great Bill! Fantastic modeling, but I must say that your photography is just as impressive!

Minefields make one approach untenable, even though only an infantry company is defending it.
Observers have a great view from up on high.
A company of Arietes in position to provide fire support. Infantry and Engineers in Freccias will move up as soon as tanks and artillery pummel the crossing site.
Drone view!

Quite the plethora of trees Chris! Love the armor lurking in the trees.
Nice Bill! Love the Ju88s and 52s. Almost shed a tear back in 2003 when the last He-111 crashed up in Wyoming. Hoping the various WIPs can get up and running again. But I think all or most of them are Spanish models.
Ben, the terrain looks good.

Re: Show us yer stuff!
A small recent game, experimenting with rules for drones. The observers up on the hill were assumed to backed up with light drones that could act as special recon aircraft. Not the big ones that work like aircraft, or the microdrones, the mid range things that are getting used by intel and target aq units.
Sure would be nice to have a few of these mid range drones, along with attendant vehicle and crew... hint hint hint GHQ...
Game changers, literally, but the question is how much "omniscience" to give them. It seems too much to treat them like ordinary units with assumed spotting at certain ranges- one flyby and the whole defensive position is given away and the artillery goes to work. For game purposes I'm thinking drones get chances to spot, and a limited number of chances per turn.

HAHA
Bill that looks great!
Can we call the 1st ever BLUE TEAM WEEKEND of GAMING? lol
I recall attending a weeklong convention here in AZ many years ago and they covered the Kursk salient in '43. Probably 12v12 with each side having a top level General commanding.
One larger map broken into spaces (tables) and the Germans had to come up with a plan, allocate resources and then attack each of the individuals spaces/maps. Russians came up with a plan for defending. Once that strategic phase was complete, each commander (per table) was given their units and/or allocations to set up on their respective table to fight. Depending on who won the battle, that impacted the strategic map for Kursk. Reinforcements coming in, shot up vehicles getting repaired. Pretty slick and time consuming to setup. But very cool to witness.
