Ben, I still can't see your picture!
It's disappeared for me too.

In that case I give up and I will put them only on facebook. If it will not take photos from Google Photos its just too hard for me to put a picture here.

Repaint these MLRS vehicles. Each one looked nice, but they did not match each other or anything else I had, nor could I easily match their coloration.

I've currently lost access to my Gazza account (had to reinstall Windows and lost my saved passwords etc.). Tried the recover password option and it reset my old account! Anyway here's some older stuff.

Sometime soon I'll be refurbing my German infantry. Here's a quick look at the Panzer Grenadier RHQ and anti-tank gun options.

Image

Leftmost Box
PzGren RHQ - 3 Sections
Recce Plt - 2 Sections (on and off kettenkrads)
PaK Plt - PHQ and 3 PaK 40

Middle Box
5cm PaK 38 options for RHQ, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Battalions.

Rightmost Box
76.2cm PaK 36(r) options for RHQ, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Battalions.

I'd forgot about these. A few years ago, I had two H&R Hetzers that I managed to break the gun barrels off. So I tidied them up, drilled them out, and added a small section of very thin tubing (from the applicator needle of a Revell Contacta Professional glue). They are now used as Flammpanzers.

They could probably do with a wash and dry brush like my more recent stuff.

Nice work Gazza/Mortis! You have a great looking collection!

I really like your AT gun stands. The guns look great and the bases are a perfect fit. Did you make the bases with the pointed end like that?

Cheers!

Yeah, I make the AT bases from the same card that I use for the infantry bases.

Here's a quick photo of some 6pds awaiting their (Adler) crews along with another bases before I've trimmed the corners off.

I am not near as motivated to apply this many antennas for my tanks.
Maybe in near or far future. I do like the look.

Out with the old and in with the new! My USMC battalion landing team’s howitzer battery is turning in their M198s and drawing new M777s. New trucks as well, to replace the big M925 5-ton trucks. The M198s will be reassigned to a corps artillery battalion.

I spent some time on the M198 at the schoolhouse at Fort Sill. It’s a back-breaking gun, but a lot of fun to shoot. The Chief of Section would shout “Beef on Trails!” and 10 cherry lieutenants would try to man-handle this thing into position, much to the delight of the senior NCO instructors.

I have no personal experience with the Triple Seven, other than occasionally seeing it on the local highways between Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms. It still seems crazy to me to tow a howitzer by the muzzle, but it seems to work and by all accounts it is a great howitzer. It had the staring role, in my opinion, in the movie Hyena Road.

Looks great Mike! For a moment (half a second) I thought the 5-ton M925 and M777 were mine.

The CoC just posted the King of battle if you would like to see those pictures.

A quick post of some Centurion Mk.Is (still in their glossy gloriness) - I waffle on some more about them in my Gazza topic.
