Our task force came across these three submarines in the Pacific Ocean.
These are from KDF, the Porpoise and two U-212/214 submarines.

Mick those are awesome! How are you making them? What materials are you using?
Thanks Mike, it is a bit of a composite approach. There is a fair amount of good old fashion whittling as you say. I have enough Evergreen styrene to last my days out I reckon. Two part epoxy putty (blue/yellow) is another really good material for the odd shapes and can be sanded to a nice clean edge.
I have recently gained access to a 3d printer which helps out a great deal making small items that I need, missile containers, wings, ship hulls etc.
I can do a bit of CAD stuff at home so the whole crazy wish list is now being looked at.
There are many, many 3d files out there but I see the 3d printers as a tool for making what is not available. At the smaller scales I believe the models are still more art than science to get them to "look" right.
It is not just a case of reducing down by size alone. Sometimes you have to remove detail, other times add/over size something.
I still see a lot of pewter in my future and have no intention of giving up what I have!

Ben, what brown-tan color did you use?
Mick, those stealth ships are great, phenomenal!
Redleg, I like those BM-21. Really nice.

It was a bit of a long shot for the new releases and since a GHQ 1/2400 one is now at lest 12 months away.....

The Karmanaskis Navy today named it's latest ship KNS Nakiska.

Happy National Karma Day and don't go overboard.

It's a beautiful ship but.... I saw the white tent alongside and the first thing that popped into my mind was "Now offering Outdoor Dining and Curbside Pickup".

It's been a long pandemic, hasn't it?

Thanks Ben, I hear you. I can only speak for the people residing in Karmanaskis but we hit 100% of 2 jabs for all who wanted it two weeks ago today!
So most restrictions and limits are off as of now.
I just went to get more beer from my local store, I was the only customer with a mask (sign on the door was gone!!!).
Maybe we are starting to get there?

Chill and cheers everyone.

Oof. Whereas my glorious nation is officially the worst performing member of the OECD with only 6% of the population fully vaccinated
