Re: Show us yer stuff!
Thank you Pete
Rhabstclair, nice figures, look good.
Just painted these. The Leopard 1 vehicles are serving as FO for artillery. Better armored than M113.
The M548 is CinC, carrying cargo. GHQ M-548 is to the right.
Trucks, Logistics is vital for success. I’ve done some kitbashing. Using the tank from Hemtt fueler cut down a buy.
Have a MANN tow truck.then there are the older and newer models.

Re: Show us yer stuff!
I’m sharing some pics from Jim “Brigade Commander”. He is still unable to access his account on the forum so unable to post, but he is still cranking out some fantastic units. These pics are the 1st Brigade of the 3rd Armored Division.
This photo is brigade storage. Storage boxes from left to right are:
Brigade HHC: 10 tracks, 40 wheels, 18 trailers in 2 storage boxes
2-32 Armor: 108 tracks, 115 wheels, 29 trailers in 9 storage boxes (HHC and 4 line companies)
4-32 Armor: 108 tracks, 115 wheels, 29 trailers in 9 storage boxes (HHC and 4 line companies)
2-36 Infantry: 129 tracks, 116 wheels, 30 trailers in 10 storage boxes (HHC and 5 line companies)
3-36 Infantry: 129 tracks, 116 wheels, 30 trailers in 10 storage boxes (HHC and 5 line companies)
All the units laid out for inspection with a few shots zoomed in on the vehicles. In all, the brigade has 484 tracked vehicles, 506 wheeled vehicles, and 136 trailers. It takes 40 storage boxes to hold the whole thing!

Thanks Pete, chrisswim, Foxbat, and redleg!
I found this guy’s videos for painting 1:35 figures and am trying his technique out on some American infantry. Should be posting soon…

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Tell Brigade Commander to CALL GHQ and holler at them. We need him back on the forum. It shouldn't be so difficult to get this sort of thing corrected!

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Folks!
Not exactly the right place for this message, however....Noble Knight Games (in Wisconsin) currently has a Spring sale happening > currently showing 1,800 GHQ products at below retail price > microarmour, micronauts et al. And free shipping in the US for orders over $149.
I must point out I'm not affiliated with NK. I have ordered online from them about half a dozen times - they haven't yet failed to despatch an order within 24 hours.
Get some bargains and then you'll have more GHQ stuff to show!

That is a very nice collection of armor that Brigade Commander has. I was in 3rd Armored Division in Germany back in 1985.

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Adding a couple more pics of Brigade Commander’s units: some of the company size units that are supporting 1st Bde / 3rd AD.
503rd MP Company: 0 tracks, 79 wheels, 5 trailers in 2 storage boxes
D Company / 23rd Engineer Battalion (CBT): 19 tracks, 17 wheels, 14 trailers in 2 storage boxes
22nd Chemical Company: 12 tracks, 75 wheels, 44 trailers in 3 storage boxes
K Troop / 3 / 11 ACR: 28 tracks, 10 wheels, 3 trailers in 1 storage box
N Troop / 4 / 11 ACR: 10 aircraft in 1 storage box
He’s still working on some of these units, but I think they look great! Well done, Jim!

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Redleg, thank you for posting.
In the 3rd pic, the chemical company. Are those fuel bladders behind the tanker trucks?
.
Also, the the left, 2nd group from the left, those M113 tracks, are those smoke dischargers?
Mine look like that, some with variations.
Thank you.

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Hey Chris, here are the answers to your questions:
In the 3rd pic, the chemical company. Are those fuel bladders behind the tanker trucks?
Those are the 3000 gal water bladders the Decontamination squads use to rinse down the vehicles after being sprayed down with the decontamination agent. Each squad has three portable pumps for the rinsing process. Still working on the portable pumps and hoses. The left-most truck in the front row of each squad is the truck that mixes the decontamination agent with water, similar to mixing in firefighting foam with water, to neutralize the chemical agent(s). The trucks are a kitbash. The decon unit is designated M-12A1. Still need the hoses added to the reels.
Also, the the left, 2nd group from the left, those M113 tracks, are those smoke dischargers?
They are indeed. From Shapeways.
