Cav, great looking tank, looks very nice.
Gazza, dang a ton of tank destroyers… those all should have been ready for Piper and the Bulge.

DIY 1/2400 Shipyard

For some reason I spent more time worrying about how to build a shipyard than building new Frigates for the Karma Navy! I had for a long time a simple 18"x 24" hardboard painted up blue with a simple port to act as a home for the KDF. Grandiose plans for a architectural masterpiece never came to pass and it sat away for years. So I put a self imposed timeline on a new shipyard in one corner 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the FSC (Future Surface Combatant) program was born. A new modern ship for the KDF and a kick start on the old port.
The land base is a bit of left over peel and stick vinyl flooring. Cut easy to shape, painted with cheap hobby store paint and stuck down, Base colour around the edge was for roadways and covered with thin cut strips of tape. Then over painted for grass or concrete.
The idea for the design of the yard is steel in, ships out. This comes from the Australian Osborne Shipyard.

Next came some small buildings, most I had on hand but some after watching the video of Osborne, I kit-bashed to get the right shape and size.
Thingiverse has a vast amount of building that will print at a smaller scale and so some of the parts of this yard got silly small. I even ended up with a few sections/parts of ships under construction (units and blocks).
Small bits of flock at this scale become large trees. The admin building needs more work but I wanted it basically done by Friday for the first rollout of the FSC.
Lick of paint.
Add bits.
All ready for the KNS Stampede (RSN Formidable class) commissioning ceremony to begin.
