I occupied the kitchen by force.
Mum to kids "Dinner will be a little late today. Daddy needs to clear away his toys".

That might not actually be applicable, but it's what came to mind :D

Nice to see Mike, makes me feel a lot better as I struggle to find boxes I know I still have!
I found three lawn mowers and a snow blower but not the useful stuff

Thanks guys!

Gazza, yeah that's about how it went down. She was not happy - even after I offered to paint her some tanks!

Mick, keep digging - the good stuff is in there somewhere! Or maybe you just need to buy some more!

Glad to know others have an issue with organization. I certainly do!
Both my parents had this issue, so genetic and environmental.
Several generations, at least 3 generations, having organization is an issue!
Good thing my wife is organized.
Mike I like your stuff.
Mick, you too. When are you going to expand to control the area, the territory that you should. Yer Bouti is calling you.

Hey all,

MMG/HMGs from GHQ and 2d6. I’m trying a technique where I replace the tripod with some thin gage wire.

Replacing the tripod goes a long way to refining the model! You've done a great job on that

The finished infantry elements for my US Armored Infantry Battalion.

More photos in my Gazza thread, including some 81mm mortars from a motorized battalion.

I really have to concentrate to miss out the 'u' in Armo(u)red and replace the 's' with a 'z' in Motori(s/z)ed! :D

I'm sure the distinction is appreciated on both sides of the Atlantic. I try to double-check my own stuff, as well. I appreciate the distinction the British Army makes between armoured infantry and mechanised infantry. The mental gymnastics for use of "regiment," "battalion," "squadron," "company," "troop," "platoon," "section," and " squad" keep my brain agile, if not young.

I thought I would share a small project I have been working on. I am trying to scratch build a headquarters building, and I have been having some issues. I have a perfect image in my head of what it should look like, but I just couldn't get my building there! I tried several different materials and techniques, but I think I finally have it dialed in now! This is at least good enough to go into full production! LOL

This is the east wing of my headquarters. The west wing will look identical, and then a central portion will connect them. The roof still isn't glued on because I want to connect all 3 roof pieces when it's done.

I was going to start my own thread, but I promised myself I would finish this building first, so I can have an activation ceremony!
