Thomas, I was going for a Griffon 8100.
The original photo I saw was probably the prototype with a much more slopped cockpit.
The standard now seems to be the 8100 TD .
Should fit in the LSD ok (but not planing to) would increase the range of options. Normal LSD load will prob be 2x vehicle type and 4x personnel type landing craft.
The ACV's are for the Amphib Battalion, more for quick direct action on any littoral type of terrain.

Chris, just handy to have a few to rescue ice fishermen or transport Paul McCartney for photo ops with baby seals.
Started as 1/350 scale LCAC kit made in China, no box just in plastic holder. MRC? company or someting like that.

Thomas,
Aircraft deck lift from the Heller C de G. Squared up and .20 plastic card added to either side (hard to see in photo).
Check page one again, anything grey (before paint) is from the C de G kit.

Thomas,
Good luck, it will be the better carrier to play with.
Rear inside lift deck hangar area on the Canberra is from the kit too
I'm sure all of the decals I used on Canberra came from the kit.
In fact at that time I think I only had 2 colours of paint!
Whole thing finished with grey, black plus decals

Excellent, hope the build works out for you. I take it this is for an Australian force addition.
I'm still short on time but will try to start a LPD of some kind in the coming Months.
My Lego block ACV's are coming along slow but sure.

Thomas,
I just took the knife to the 1/288 LSD. Needed to get a waterline for an idea of what it will become. Ultra modern or a bit older.
I'm starting to favor a LPD Fearless class but with a heli hangar.

Chris,
No progress on the LPD at the moment but hope to get under way soon.
Naval Forces did well with procurement this Summer, just need to build/paint what I have!
Defensive subs and corvettes will take the priority at this time.

Looking forward to Ben's LHD project.
