Hi Redleg

Thanks very much although I have to give credit to the folks at GHQ and the fine painting by Begemot for this one. I need to get these based and ready for a game sometime.

The 24th ID at Fort Stewart did their NETT with the IPM1 tanks in and around 1986/87. The vehicles came off the railhead in forest green, like those in Europe, but became desert tan pretty much as quickly as they entered their assigned unit motor pools . The M2A1 Bradley’s came to the division about a year later and they arrived already in desert CARC . The Brads for the Ga National Guard roundout brigade were also desert CARC , even though much of the brigade’s other rolling stock (APCs, Howitzers, trucks etc) were all mostly in MERDC summer (tropical) .
By the time Desert Shield was in full swing, everything ( Guard and Active) on Ft Stewart was desert CARC.

Chris,

I think your MERDC shows great improvement. Looking good.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Hoth,
Thank you sir. Still a WIP, trying. I need to be more patient.
This group from above with the African Tan(?) and then I did some more black on the tan color.
