Tanks on a plane

Post by redleg »

Anybody out there travel by plane with micro armor? I’ve been in Pennsylvania for over a month on business and I ordered some micro armor to entertain myself and stay out of trouble. I’m flying back to Southern California next weekend and I’ve accumulated about 75 vehicles, and I have 2 Bunker Boxes and a Tank Transporter.

Right now I’m thinking I will put everything in the Tank Transporter and hand carry it onto the plane, but I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this and maybe some better ideas.

Thanks,

-Mike

Hey Mike,

I have traveled with 15mm figures before and they only looked at the paint I was carrying. Worst case they open them up and look.

Regards,

Paul

I flew to historicon (in PA and VA) with mini's as carry-ons. Just described them as metal models. No issues.

Travelled around the world including the US with metal and resin minis. Never had any trouble. Have had quite a few very interested security personnel who seem fascinated once they understand what they are.

Thanks for all the good info, guys! I think I'll carry them on with me in the Tank Transporter. It may provide some entertainment during my layovers too!

When I read the title of this topic, it remind me of this:

This would be a great kit bash!
