Hi all, just getting back into Micro armor and have a few questions for you. How do you base your individual infantry, ie
How many figures on a HQ stand?
How many figures on an infantry stand?
How many and what figures on an infantry support stand?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

HQ: I base an officer, a soldier, and a jeep/gaz/kubelwagen. So it is really easy to recognize it.
Inf Squad: 4 figures. For light/recon I base 3 in an arrow shaped formation.
Inf Supp: I base 3, 2 HMG at the front and 1 leaned mortar team at the back.
Then I have a couple of special stands, like the ATR's (for russian and early UK. I just pair 2 ATR on one stand). Snipers (a leaned LMG gunner paired with a leaned officer with binoculars). These works well also as spotters. Combat Engineers (flame trowers, SMG's and Bazooka/panzerfaust).
Bye!

Anti-tank rifle
I have started to assemble a Polish infantry company [1939] using the Micro-Squad TO&E. One problem I have is I cannot find where the anti-tank rifle man fits in, I know they were rare but would like to have the option of using them. I also like the fact of putting a vehicle on the HQ stand, but as vehicles were not to common, would a horse from the cavalry pack do ?

the ATR were extremely rare and dispersed. I don't recal well the exact ratios, but it was something comparable to the distribution of MG's in the inantry battalions at the beginnig of WW1: just an handful of ATR's per battalion.
The AT strenght of an early infantry company or battalion wouldn't be markedly affected by these weapons, but just for the sake of game play, it is a good suggestion to place just a stand or two on the table to isolate their full AT power and deliver some (weak) blows at the early panzers.

Hi Sepp,
In looking at data for that rifle on wikipedia I think the polish anti-tank rifle should have a shorter range than the Soviet ATR. In Micro Squad terms it should have an AP value of 2 with a range of 12, an HE value of 3 with a range of 16.
And I think your idea of placing a cavalry figure on the Polish Infantry HQ stands is perfect!
Just my 2 cents
Leif
