Cama,

Thanks for the post! I have many relatives in Wisconsin but have never made it across the state line to M-SP to visit GHQ. I will try to convince my wife that a side trip to the Twin Cities is a good idea. How did you coordinate your visit with the staff?

Bez

Very cool indeed, considering that the tank was kept in the open for sixty years and lost most of the zimmerit.

You are more than welcome Grant, it was a pleasure having your visit!

We don't have a "store" that has it's doors open from 10-8 everyday, but we are open for business/tours most days during business hours. We have a lot customers who come in from out of town to visit, and pick up some things while they are here. The one thing that we will say is that our factory is NOT at the address that is listed on our catalog, website, sales literature, etc. If you are ever in Minneapolis, and would like to stop by, just give us a call and set up a time to come on over. We will give you the address and directions when we set up a time. You can see the entire process from designs to finished packs, and see how everything is done by hand and in the USA.

Thank you for your support,
GHQ

Trip to GHQ

Hi Cama

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. I used to swing by GHQ once a year when I got to Minneapolis on business. I can honestly say that the entire GHQ staff is great and I always looked forward to coming. I miss those days now.

A question for GHQ:

What's the furthest away you've ever had a visitor from? Who's travelled the most to ever drop by in person?

I'd love to drop by, but being in Australia makes it something of a hike. Work trips have taken me from to time to time to the U.S., but only to New York, L.A., and - for some reason - San Fran. Can't imagine the day I'd have reason to lob up, sadly …

Dare say these pics are as close as I'll get, so cheers, Cama.

On balance, Jellicoe was probably right.
