Panzerwerfer Kompanie 1944/45 TOE's

Hello guys,

I'm loonking for the panzerwerfer kompanie TOE's
I know there is 4 launchers and 4 ammo vehicles but i 'm interested too by the HQ platoon and support platoon and got no inofrmations...

Any help will be great

According to KStN 633*) of 15.02.1943 the Panzer wrfer Kompanie was organised as follows:
Battery HQ: 1 SdKfz 15, 1 SdKfz 253 or 250/5
2x Light tele sect: 1 Sd Kfz 15 each
Ammo det.: 1 Kublewagen, 8 ammunition Maultier
2 Rockets Platoon1 SdKfz 250/5, 4 Naultir luncher (each)
Battery Maintenance section: 1 mcl w/sc, 1 car, 1 2 ton truck
Battery trains: 1 Kubelwagen, 2 trucks medium, 3 3 tons truck

Note that thre were 1or 2 panzerwerfer batteries for werfer regiment together with 3 motorised rocket battalions.

To be pedantic, KstN 633 is a panzerwerfer battery, not a company. It means they are operated by artillery troops, not panzer troops (in theory). I don't know if there is another KstN, but I could only find 633 which is under the nebeltruppenverband. I have that KstN dated 1:10:44, so not sure how many units would have organised under it (as units usually only changed over during a major refit).

The later organisation has a battery HQ with
1 kubelwagen
1 medium personnel vehicle
1 Sdkfz 250/5 observation vehicle

a comms troop with 2 kubelwagen line layers (wire, no radio)

line battery with
1 launcher platoon of 4 panzerwerfer 42's and 1 Sdkfz250/5
2nd launcher platoon with
1 kubelwagen, 4 panzerwerfer 42's, 1 4.5ton maultier or Sdkfz11/5

a munitions squad with
1 kubelwagen, 4 panzerwerfer 42's (as ammo carriers?), 4 4.5 ton maultiers

a support squad with
1 kubelwagen, 5 3ton trucks (open) (Opel Blitz)

an I group (tech support troop) with
1 kubelwagen, 1 x 2 ton truck (open), 1 x 3 ton truck (open)

piersyf you are right, it was a battery not a kompanie.

The difference between the two orgnisations (except for some trucks) is that mine used 3 ton Opel Maultiere while yours used 4,5 ton SWS.

The launcher was the same panzerwerfer 42 but it carried more ammuition.

Sorry, no batterie TOE's, I have only the vehicules list for one "Werfer-regiment" from "Werfer-brigade 7" (so, it's not easy to allocate vehicules in each batteries...)

Small reminder : The theorical organization of "Werfertruppen" :
- One battery ("batterien") = 6 launchers tracted (six or five tube each, it depend of the calibre).
- Three "batterien" = one "Abteilung".
- One regiment = three "Abteilungen" + one "Panzerwerferbatterie" with eight Panzerwerfer 42 (ten tubes each).
- One "Werfer-brigade" = Two "Werfer-regimenter" and one "Stabsbatterie" (HQ company of the regiment).

I organized my PanzerWerfer battery as follow : (from Werfer-regiment 83 and 84, France, july-1st-1944)

I suppose it's not perfect, but it can help...

(note about the Pak : In many « Abteilung » three Pak 7,5cm are present with prime movers (Sdkfz 11, command car or truck,…), so I allocate one in the PanzerWerfer company)
