Posted originally in Micronaunt Only thread but I received no response. I want a Kuma but more accurate and I need a response before the end of GHQ's sale. Please :)

If I understand correctly I need the bridge from INJ49 Kuma and the hull of IJN24 Nagara?

Is IJN24 Nagara bridge a separate item as with IJN49 Kuma?
Any difficulty in just replacing the Nagara bridge with the Kuma bridge?

Any other changes needed?

I would have replied, but I am now on overseas assignment. Please accept this as my MEMORY rather than verification.
The bridge on IJN24, CL Nagara, is separate, as is that of IJN49, CL Kuma. I haven't actually done the construction for my models, but an initial dry fit revealed no significant problems.
If anyone can confirm or correct this, please reply.

i did 3 conversions using the nagara'and kuma, i had to remove some of the shielded guns and join the bridge to the hollby drilling a pilot hole, but they came out fairly well. i am still hoping for a revised ghq model, best of luck to you

Just an update. Evidently the current IJN24 Nagara model comes with the bridge cast onto the hull. The instruction sheet shows it that way also.

Bother

It came with the standard IJN heavy cruiser aircraft/catapult sprue, which looks a bit ragged, and a single main mast. The main mast is kinda tiny, the one that comes with Kuma is much nicer
