Balzac Self Defence Force v. People's Republic of Camastan

Post by 7.62 »

Whats going on? My computer has been on for over 30 second now and still no 4-door Land Rover!!
I know it's not out yet but Poor show.
I only hope the hard top is removable and is molded to fit not quite right like the one I once had to drive way back when.
Would be really great if they come with them funny looking add on track systems(not that I will use them).
Fingers crossed that we get six in a pack.
Wonder if they will be L/H or R/H drive?
Will GHQ be making a 6x6 next year?
Any support for a Land Rover AA/RAC CC one day?

Are we there yet?

It's the first of March... still no sign of any new releases...

I have waited years for a GHQ LWB or 4-door Land Rover.
I can wait a little longer no worries.

Of all the excellent releases this year, this is my #1 must have!
Funny really, with all the up-armoured add-on beasts and Hi tech F-35, missiles etc.
It is a simple 4x4 I'm looking forward to most.

That is one fine looking Centurion.

Here I am thinking I'm all done with the old cents.
My reserve units still hold them.

Image

Still waiting to have them completed.

Image

So they can be replaced with Leopard 2A4's

Image

Which still need finishing.

Image

Which are now available because the main Force is receiving Leopard 2A6's.......
Well you get the idea.

Maybe I'll just try the one pack?

Chris,
Total rebuild of my small freelance force has gone very well over the last six Months or so.
With some major trading and careful buying the new BSDF (Balzac Self Defence Force) is a lot better suited to my locality.
Think Swedish/Finnish forces in the Rockies.
Boat loads of Leo 2A6 and CV90 are coming on stream to the point that the reserves have traded in the old Centurions for Leo 2A4's and M113's.
Just a couple of company's of Fuchs with turrets to pass off as XA-203 at the moment but looking at maybe VBCI to stand in as XA-360 since a GHQ AMV is at least 12 Months away.

Blue water Navy amphib ambitions are long gone with the cancellation of the LHD program.
However this has shown a bad capability gap! With you talking of total dominance warfare from the Arctic (that's my oil) to the equator, a need for coastal Forces/Marines needs to be addressed.
Also the evil empire (Cama) has of late been sending subs around the Islands in my back yard.
With no Naval sea lift, a roll on,roll off ferry is to be used to test resupply of Arctic and Islands over the Summer. Pics later WIP.

Mick,
If cama is sending in subs, scouting/reconnoitering.... you will need to build your ASW assets, since budgets are tight: S-3 or two, some SH60F, Frelon and/or Lynx. Drop some trops on him. He will not bother you any more if he is peaceful. If not peaceful, then it will escalate.
If that happens, you have the equipment or it is in process to be shipped. Consider the Chinese 6x6 for the XA, put a M.G. guy up there.....you should have some pics from a month ago or so. I can take a few more to send your way.
I just read that your parliament approved 10 more CV9040, and 5 more Land Rovers.Cama has gotten the gov'ts attention. That with previous 20 Lpd 2A6, 20 CV9040, land rover, G-wagons, M548....which followed trucks, armor, AIFV, etc. Cama better looks for seals (not US Navy SEALS) or polar bears.
You can take 'em. You got this!!!

I hate it when there's a war on and I can't get my traffic updated from Ginger. Then I have to turn to Rosie on 98.7FM "The Rock" and she is nowhere near as reliable.

Oh man, this is bad. Ginger not helping the economically deprived economy, do they ride bikes listening to transistor radios for traffic reports. Mick, I told you, you got this. But, can you handle the submarine? It looks bad to the bone or to a depth of 643 feet.

That sub may have some cruise missiles or a deck gun or two. I bet Rosie could be bribed to give false traffic report, thus confusing the PRC military/constable force where to go to meet the enemy.

What do you think.

Cama excellent Land Rover. If I can get mine to look half as good I'll be a happy camper.
