I am looking for a magnifier head set in order to paint and detail my microarmor.
The Optivisor by Donagan looks good. You can order a few different lenses for the distance you like to work.
I am looking for any reviews and suggestions on what you use to magnify.

I used to be able to get by with my baby blues. Now I need readers. I tried the Optivisor for a day a few years back. Just too awkward and uncomfortable. Maybe I would have gotten used to it in time, but I gave it up. Now I buy cheap reading glasses at the drug store and am able to do just fine. A lot cheaper too.

The Optivisor is somethiing I use now too. I find I hit my paint brush against it when I'm working close. I got mine from my parents many years ago wiht what ever lens it shipped with back then. About a year ago I learned they made different lenses for it but haven't bought any yet.
I'd second the recommendation you try the cheaper readers from the drug store first if you can.
