How do I find out about current coupons or offers? I prefer to buy direct from GHQ and it seems their vendors are $1.00 cheaper per pack but I keep seeing GHQ has coupons that offset that

As far as I know GHQ offer three general discounts:

1.) Micro Bucks - with every order I place I get a $4 coupon good on my next order of $50 or more
2.) Every month they have some items on sale at 15% off
3.) The Summer Sale

Not sure what other coupons you might be asking about?

Strange but true. If you have the time to wait for an order from the retail vendors the economics definitely work in your favor.

Ordering Directly from GHQ
During non-sale periods:
1. If you have an order direct from GHQ of exactly $50 then micro bucks give you a savings of 8%.
2. But it is almost impossible to get to exactly $50 so lets say you have to buy 6 packs of micro armor to get over that threshold. That would be $59.70 which would mean your $4 discount is only 6.7%.
3. If your order doesn't even reach the $50 threshold then of course you get no savings at all by ordering directly.

During Summer/Christmas/Black-Friday Sales:
1. If you have an order of $50 or more you will get a 15% discount

2. For the Black-Friday Sale the threshold was $100 order for a 20% discount.
3. If your order doesn't even reach the $50 threshold then of course you get no savings at all by ordering directly.

Ordering from Retail Vendors
1. A discount of $1 per pack is 10.05%.
2. The discount is applied whether you order 1 pack or 100 - no minimum order threshold.
3. If you bought the same six packs of micro armor mentioned above you would save an additional $2 by ordering from a retail vendor and not directly from GHQ even after the GHQ micro bucks discount was applied.

What is the catch? TIME! If you have the time it is a good deal but I have had to wait up to six months to get an order satisfactorily filled while at other times I've gotten my order faster than if I ordered directly from GHQ.

It all comes down to where you want to accept risk.
