The picture shows a fume extractor and no muzzle brake.
I'd say it represents the 105

Centurion Mk 5
GHQ Stock # N580

That is if this is the model you are asking about

In my humble opinion its a 20 Pdr which also had a bore evacuator A simple google search for the Centurian Mk5/1 Austrailian will clear it up while GHQ has not specified it as being a Mk5/1A it clearly resembles that model Centurian as used by Austrailia in Vietnam....Mikey

Australian Centurions in VN had 20 pdr guns with fume extractors. It was classified a Centurion Mk5/1 with barrel type B (or just B barrel). IIRC, the fume extractor is centred with the 20pdr and slightly offset with the 105mm.

It is indeed a 20 Pdr type B barrel identified by the Fume extractor with 3 Counterweight fins which i don't belive were present on the type C barrel. none the less the model is Def a Cent Mk5/1 (Aus) as used in vietnam.........Mikey

Does anybody know whether the aux fuel cell on the back is molded to the hull or separate and can be glued on or left off?

That's what I was afraid of. Now I have to add a clean Centurion hull, ie no side skirts or aux fuel cells to the what I'd like to see in 2016 list.
