I would love to see GHQ do the Otranto for Coronel. I would also like to see the Canopus which although not a merchant vessel would be good to a what if Coronel and she was also at Falklands.

For the Germans, perhaps the SeeAdler which was a raider.

The only USS Red River I could find was a side-wheel river steamer of the US Civil War. It did serve as a hospital ship, but was discarded long before WWI.
USS Mississippi (BB-23) was a pre-dreadnought small battleship that was sold to Greece before the start of WWI. It did carry some US troops to Mexico but was never converted or classified as a transport.
I could not find references on wooden cargo ship Ferris, wooden cargo ship Ballin, cargo ship Dougherty, cargo ship Grays Harbor, cargo ship Hough, cargo ship McClelland, or cargo ship Laker Steel. Could you provide additional information to identify these ships?
