Russian Tank Riders!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

I want them in August!!!

And the B-17G?!?! That's huge!

And the modern italians too! It's too much to bear in one announcement!

Thank You GHQ!

TW ISIS Infantry
Really curious what these will look like. I'm glad you're making them, I was already brainstorming on mixing Mujahideen + Third World Regulars + Sub-Saharan Irregulars for this purpose.
N CV9030
AC F-35C
W T-64BM
N T-90S Bhishma- India
N M1091 FMTV Tanker
+ the Italian moderns too
Mmmm, moderns....delicious. Although I might only buy the FMTV Tanker because I used to drive one. :D

And all the modern Japanese warships.....you guys might get me into naval wargaming if you keep it up....

More vehicles for 21st panzer division in 1944. Maybe the halftracks will come out next year. Thanks GHQ!

Not a lot for me, but what there is is great!

German trailers, Russia tank riders, LCA's...

Why does the Staghound III have a 'G' tag?

Still no LVT4's...

news

:D hi all !
It's always very nice to discover the news release list :P

Very great list for me :
- G Staghound Mk. III : I believe it was use only by canadian (in late war) (i'm not sure) (why not...)
- AC A-37 Dragonfly : great model for Vietnam aera.
- G German Trailers : generators ? cargo ? wait and see... but very great new !
- N M41 Howitzer : interesting.
- AC C-47 : yes, fantastic news ! I will buy few : I need it for Normandy, Bastogne, Russia, Indochina and Vietnam. (I hope it will have a possibility to have separate landing gear in deployed configuration because it's great for dioramas and scenery on the ground... )
- W T-54 : great news ! (buy few blisters)
- AC B-17G :  Wow ! Again, like C-47, i hope it will have separate landing gear in deployed configuration : great airfield bases dioramas !
- G Marder I on Hottchkiss chassis : great for the 21Pz
- N M102 105mm Howitzer : great for vietnam riverine barges and fire support bases and Grenade island assault 1983,...
- AC Dornier Do17 : original, why not.
- W Zil 157 with Katyusha. interesting.
- R Russian Tank Riders : greaaaat ! :D I have a full T-34 brigade to complete !
- UK Light AT Weapons : very interesting because it was cruelly missing.
- US M51 Quad .50 Trailer : original new. I'll buy few (no 90mm gun this year, what a pity...)
- UK LCA- Landing Craft Assault : yes, yes, yes, fantastic ! :D
- N Peugeot P4. great for french army. I hope it will be without tarpaulin (easier to make conversion in special forces vehicule for example)
- G 105mm on Hotchkiss chassis : again, great for the 21Pz.

I'm very happy with this list. There's a lot of interesting models in Modern and in Micronauts too.
I'm only little disappointed to not see LVT4's for this year, maybe this will be for the next  ...
However, very good job GHQ : you are always innovative and responsive to your customers, it's really great !

I am 53 and have been buying GHQ stuff for 39 years and the new releases make me feel like a kid at Christmas. Some of these items have been on my wish list for 20+ years such as: B-17G, C-47, Russian Tank Riders and the M-102.

I also love the M1091 and M1086 FMTV variants, the LCS-1 Freedom and the M51 quad .50 trailer.

My favorite: early war USN Carrier aircraft (TBD, SB2U and F2A) - Midway etc...

Awesome list as always. The kids are out of college so the cash will flow to GHQ this year.

Not much of interest for me again this year.
German trailers, IJN Kagero- if it's the early war version, and maybe a pack of tank riders.
Also of interest- last year there were 8-9 new items every two months.
Only 43 items listed here- that's only 7 per, with one at 8.
Either a shorter list this year, or some yet to come?

Several items that I have wanted for some time.
HJN DD-101 Murasame
HJN DDH-183 Izumo
HRN Duke class (Type 23)
HUS LCS-1 Freedom

GWG Konigsberg
GWG Karlsruhe class
GWB Devonshire class
GWB Chatham class

USN Early-war Carrier Planes- TBD Devastator, SB2U Vindicator, F2A Buffalo
FRN Duguay-Trouin class
IJN Taiyo class
IJN Kagero class

I want the Duke class, Duguay-Trouin, Taiyo, and Kagero a lot, the Konigsberg and Karlsruhe a bit less.

The others when I get to them

Personal Opinion of 2015-2016 Micronaut Schedule

Once again, GHQ’s schedule for 1/2400 Micronauts offers a pretty good selection. It’s great to see another dozen ship models. For me, only two of the dozen types are from my personal wish list but five others will be on my shopping list as soon as they are released. I would have liked some more ships from the Battle of Jutland in time for the centennial of this iconic event, but three in one year is pretty good. With respect to the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, five of the twelve ships were in the top 10 vote-getters and four more were in the top 100 vote-getters.

Here are some personal comments on the individual 2014-2015 Micronauts, beginning with what I consider best for me:

USN91 WWII US aircraft, early-war carrier-based aircraft – The availability of Devastator, Vindicator, and Buffalo makes a great improvement in our ability to model and game Coral Sea, Midway, and hypothetical early-war combats such as a relief of Wake Island. Personally, this item was in my top dozen wish list. It had 28 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 26th place.
Two comments associated with this product:
• I’m a bit surprised that this was released without GHQ also releasing a model of either Lexington (CV 2) or Yorktown (CV 5) as they were at Coral Sea. They would make excellent mounts for these aircraft. Perhaps one of these will appear in the next few years.
• It’s been several years since GHQ last released any Micronaut aircraft. If they continue, there are several good possibilities: UK Fleet Air Arm, Japan late-war carrier-based, another pack of Germans, and US land-based attack & medium bombers.

FRN12 WWII France light cruiser Duguay-Trouin class – this class of three ships were built relatively soon after the end of the Great War and marked a significant improvement over war-built types (all main armament in dual turrets mounted on the centerline). They had interesting careers, with one serving the Vichy French, one serving with the Free French, and one interned for most of the war. I will certainly purchase three as soon as they become available. Personally, this item was in my second dozen wish list. It had 38 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, in 7th place overall.
Comments associated with this product:
• It’s been a while since the last previous WWII French ship from GHQ. Some other types that could be produced include heavy cruiser Duquesne class, destroyer Bourrasque class, light cruiser Emile Bertin, and destroyer Vauquelin class.
• To give the Duguay-Trouin class something to fight, there are several WWII Italian destroyer classes that GHQ has not yet produced: Folgore, Freccia, Oriani, and Maestrale.

GWB33(?) WWI UK armoured cruiser Devonshire class, GWB34(?) Chatham class, and GWG23(?) Karlsruhe class – Three classes of ships that were present at the Battle of Jutland are fewer than I had wished for, but still an improvement. I hope they are released by April 2016 so that I will have time to paint them before the centennial of the battle. There are still about twenty types left to complete the Jutland order of battle, but I’m not going to campaign actively for them anymore. There’s plenty of time for them to be produced before the 200th anniversary of the battle. Devonshire had 43 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, in 2nd place overall, Chatham had 42 votes, in 3rd place, and Karlsruhe had 33 votes, tied for 13th place.

IJN56 WWII Japan destroyer Kagero class – this could be either an early-war version (lots of 5â€￾ guns and torpedoes) with 26 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 35th place, or a late-war version (reduced 5â€￾ guns & torpedoes for more AA weapons) with 36 votes, tied for 8th place. Personally, I would prefer the earlier version, but for either I intend to purchase a complete complement. GHQ has produced both early-war and late-war versions of several other Japanese destroyer classes. Some other WWII Japanese ships I would like to see include destroyer Shimakaze (only a single ship, but more planned), Mutsuke class destroyers (last of the pre-Special Type), heavy cruiser Maya (late-war), and heavy cruiser Mogami (late-war)

GWG(22?) WWI Germany light cruiser Königsberg – There were actually two Königsbergs in the German fleet during WWI. The earlier (commissioned in 1905) was famous for its battle on the Rufiji River and destroyed early in the war. The second (commissioned in 1916) participated in the second Battle of Heligoland. I was really surprised by this release, as neither ship was present at Jutland. I would have preferred a Jutland participant, but I will purchase whichever one GHQ produces. The earlier version had 8 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 262nd place; the latter 5 votes, tied for 531st place.

IJN55(?) WWII Japan escort aircraft carrier Taiyo class - I concentrate on surface warfare so I probably won’t be purchasing any aircraft carriers in the near future. For those purchasing carriers, these should be a popular choice. This class had 39 votes on the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 5th place.

I’m not buying modern warships at this time so I won’t be getting any of the following. However, I hope GHQ does well with these. As with last year, I’m a bit surprised there are no new Chinese ships this year, but I can see the logic of continuing with the popular Japanese and UK types.

HJN(3?) post-Cold War Japan destroyer DD-101 Murasame class – This is a general purpose destroyer. It had 13 votes on the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 102nd place.

HJN(4?) post-Cold War Japan helicopter destroyer DDH-183 Izumo class – GHQ is really up to date on this one – the lead ship was commissioned only a few months ago. Like last year’s Hyūga class, almost an aircraft carrier but for political reasons intentionally designed so that operation of fixed-wing aircraft (even VSTOL types) would be difficult. The Izumo class had 10 votes on the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 162nd place (not bad for a ship class that just entered service).

HRN(7?) late-Cold War UK frigate Duke (type 23) class – This is a relatively large class of fast escorts. Originally intended to specialize in anti-submarine warfare, modifications to the design after the Falklands War gave them good general-purpose characteristics. Aside from the 13 retained by the UK, three have been transferred to Chile. I’m a bit surprised at this choice – they are considerably older than the other “Hâ€￾ releases this year. The Duke class had 34 votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, in 12th place.

HUS20 post-Cold War US littoral combat ship Freedom (LCS-1). This class had 21 votes on the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, tied for 52nd place. I thought that this was an unusual choice for this year; it’s several years later than GHQ’s production of the contemporary LCS-2 class. Also, there are reports that subsequent ships of the LCS-1 class will have significant modifications, so it might have been better to model LCS-3.
