FoW Cold War Rules

Post by SKeeM »

Not sure if anyone seen these or if it is even appropriate to post this here but I came across these rules tonight and I think they are fantastic! I hope I dont offend anyone but a good set of rules is hard to find.

Yup, for an "amateur" effort they look top notch (I have read them but not played them). The accompanying "Flames of War" style army books are worthwhile in themselves...

At present my gaming does not extend past Vietnam but these rules might tempt me into collecting a few small armies for the Cold War Gone Hot!

Yes I know but they are going to start early Cold War around 1980 the rumor has it. No M1A1'a and probably no T80's at first. I would like to see M60A3's against T64/T72's but who knows. I heard M1 slicks are to be included with the first release. Gotta wait and see but I plan on using GHQ models to play it and to play at 5000 points. Now to get my club mates on board with 1/285.

I'm gearing up to do that for WW2. 5500 points per side, 12x20 table!
