Here's a random one. I have to go to Baltimore to pick up my car and I'm driving back to Rhode Island. Does anyone know of any miniatures shops along the I-95 corridor heading north? I can't deviate too far off path but if there is a good shop out there it would be worth the extra time. Thanks in advance for any leads.

If its still in business, the Citadel in New London, CT, is just off I-95, and (at least some years ago) had a massive inventory of GHQ Models.

ferret701,
I found a facebook page for a Citadel in Groton is that probably the same one? I haven't found a website for them but their not far off I-95 so I will check them out. I leave tomorrow morning.
edit: They have a Yahoo Groups page but only one post for 2015, I wonder if they still exist. I may have to just call them today to find out.

Well god news and bad news. I found it easily enough but with traffic delays passing through New York City they were closed by the time I arrived. Still its not too far from Newport for the occasional foray. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, that's right. I forgot it was in Groton. Used to hit it sometimes back when I was working a Congressional race in that area. Of course, that was 1994...

I finally had an opportunity to drive up to Groton to check out The Citadel. It was kind of like stepping into a time machine. I found a pack of M109 SPGs at a list price of $4.25. A couple of random packs at $5.75, $6.95, $7.95, and $8.95. Nothing on the racks at the new prices yet. All I ended up walking out the door with was HMS Invincible which will likely undergo a bow ramp conversion.
OBTW the owner said he's looking for a buyer so he can retire. If anyone wants a B&M game store...

Cama,
I second your thoughts on American Eagle in seattle. I live danger close to where they were located. I made a couple of stops into the store during the final days. It was a great loss. I loved stopping in there and loosing myself for an hour or two. My girlfriend gets annoyed with me everytime I drive past the old location, in lake city and say... "such a shame its gone, I miss them". LOL
