What are you five most hoped for new releases of GHQ ships? Limit yourself to just 5. They can be WWI, WWII, Modern, or a combination. Mine are all WWII and here they are:
HMS York
British I class destroyers (with the quintuple tubes)
British destroyer leaders
British Erebus class monitor (in its WWII version)
Italian light cruiser Taranto
What are your 5?

Good list, mine would be (also WWII):
- CV-5 Yorktown, 1942
- Hog Islander Type B
- T2 Tanker
- RN T-class sub
- RN WWII carrier aircraft

Hard to pick just five:
WWII USA aircraft carrier Yorktown (CV-5), 1942 appearance
WWII USA battleship Idaho (BB-42), late-war appearance
WWII USA fast attack transport Charles Lawrence (APD-37) class
Early Cold War USA destroyer Gearing FRAM I conversion
WWII UK frigate Black Swan class

It's really difficult to limit this to five ships, but here's my list. Right now I'm on a battleship binge, so these are all WWII capital ships.
- WWII Germany battlecruiser Gneiseneau
- WWII Japan battleship Fuso, late-war appearance
- WWII UK battleship Anson, Duke of York, or Howe; late-war appearance
- WWII USA battleship Idaho (BB 42), late-war appearance
- WWII USA battleship Iowa (BB 61)

My five most wanted would be:
CA Duquesne
CA York
BB Iowa
BB Malaya
AC Waldeck Rosseau (French WWI).
My only real reason for that last one is that it has six funnels, but it fascinates me for no good reason. Some of the other ships listed by other respondents are good ideas. However, I've kit-bashed a Gneisenau from a GHQ Scharnhorst and a part or two from a CinC Gneisenau, and also did the "Duke . . . ," Anson and Howe from GHQ's KGV and some 20mm tubs from the Alaska. (Took quite a while to shave off the external degaussing cables.) I have a 3D printed Fuso from Shapeways, but in this case would probably not pass up another if GHQ were to make one.

1. WWII Japan battleship Fuso (late-war appearance)
2. WWII Japan destroyer Akatsuki class
3. WWII UK “A†& “E†– “I†class destroyer leaders (Codrington, Exmouth, Faulkner, Grenville, Hardy, and Inglefield)
4. WWII UK heavy cruisers Berwick & Cornwall (1939 appearance)
5. WWII UK light cruisers Scylla & Charbdis

Six funnels seems a good reason for me.

Is the "Consolidated Micronaut Wish List" thread now redundant?

I would say no, we still need it. This is just a quick way to see what everyone is thinking in regards to their five favorites.

It seemed to me that if one wanted to catch GHQ's eye about hoped for new releases, the massive laundry lists that are to be seen on the "Consolidated Micronaut Wish List" aren't the way to do it. Short and to the point is the way to go, hence my request for people's five top choices.

Donald's list is important, but I like this list too. When you see the same ship hitting the top 5 list multiple times it is a good sign.

I would like to add an honorable mention: The Joint High Speed Vessel. The only reason I bring this up is USNS Trenton, JHSV-5, is pulling into Newport this weekend. I hope to get a tour but the two hour window she's open to the public is at a really bad time for me.

Ok. One honorable mention, but only because I was stationed near Trenton (Ft. Dix).
