Just curious....

Besides GHQ I'm aware of the following manufacturers of Micro Armor (noting some is 1/285 and some 1/300):

GHQ
Mainforce
Scotia
C-in-C
Heroics & Ros
Irregular

Any other makers out there? I'm only interested in WW2 and possibly moderns for Team Yankee....

Recently a number of people have begun producing figures in these scales using 3D printing. Try searching for Masters of Military or Shapeways.

I believe that is a complete list of the traditional manufacturers, though I might add GameCraft Miniatures, which has a few models (Patriot, M1000 HET, others), along with LEVA, currently produced by Legions IV Hire (I believe, limited array of models) and Ian Starling miniatures (currently sold as Amphimods, IIRC).

I would add to that list former manufacturers:

In-Service Miniatures (some original models, plus plenty "borrowed" from GHQ, CinC and slightly modified)
PewterCraft (In truth, its possible they are still in business in some form)
Plus Viking (H&R casts?), Stevens International (Skytrex?), and SimTac (Scotia).
Skytrex (absorbed by H&R)

I believe there was also an Australian company 30 or so years ago, but I have little information on them. Don't even recall their name...

And they're not really in the market yet, but Baccus have been working on a WW2 range which will include vehicles.

Not really interested in OOP sources - really just wondering where gamers can go today if they are looking for models.

A U.K. manufacturer, Adler, do a very nice line in figures which complement the G.H.Q. range of artillery pieces.

Yes, I can recommend Adler figures - some of them have "big head syndrome" but in general they look as good as GHQ figures. I use them for ** CENSORED ** figures which are hard to get in the GHQ boxes - for example British HMGs, which are far too few in the GHQ mix.
