Pibber,
I am sorry that this happened, I do not know much. For what it may be worth, I have prayed for you the people there, families for comfort and peace for all. Hope that God will comfort you all. Peace to you!!! Shalom!
Seeing Parisians walking calmly down an exit tunnel from the Stade de France singing the national anthem was one of the most inspirational things I've seen in years.
Sydney Australia lighting up red white and blue tonight, Melbourne (officially) on Monday.
Pibber -- My deepest condolences to your country and I hope that France will exact the appropriate revenge from the bastards responsible. Perhaps involving the Legion Entrangere.
It is one thing to witness this tragedy from afar, it must be quite another to be in the midst of it. My hope is for your safety, the healing of your country and the conviction to do whatever is needed to stop this cancer that has become so common in our world. What a sad era to be living in...

I am 7,400 km from Paris.
Tonight I can (and will) find a fine bottle of French red wine.
I can do this because like the French people, I have Liberty.
Eat in your cafes, drink in your bars, walk in your streets.
The world needs to stand as one so that this type of thing comes to an end. There is no place in a civilized world for people for any reason to attack defenseless people. Pibber, You and your people are in the thoughts of all Americans. Take care of you and yours.
Pibber,
I'm so sorry for you and your country. My heart goes out to you all. We in America stand with you. This may be the beginning of a long and difficult war, but in the end ISIS will be defeated. Remember Charles Martel. What he and his troops did allowed France to become the nation that it is, and the victory over the Muslims must and will be won! Take heart brother.

Pibber,
My wife and I visit Paris regularly, last time in May. We love the city so much and are so sad that this has happened, I know the French will not take this lying down though. Our sincerest condolences to you. and I hope you guys nail the perpetrators.
I want to thank you so much for your comments quite touching, really thank you, thank you so much to everyone for your generous support, condoleances and prayers....at this time we have great need.
The intensity of the situation is unprecedented for us, but one thing is certain: the French will never forget that bloody day massacre and its origins, ...never.
May the Earth, may the free world live forever without this type of fanatical criminals foolish.
Thanks for making that point cama. It should go without saying that the people would did this do not represent the vast majority of Muslims in the World. Nor are they in any way representative of the refugees that have been fleeing the Middle East. Your comparison to 1939 is apt.
