Good news.

Sentry Box in Calgary, Alberta is still selling GHQ @ 9.95US$ a pack!
Get them while they are there.

Bad news.

Today that's CAN$ 14.30 a pack!

On the up side, if that was 11.95US$ we would be paying CAN$ 16.59

I have picked up what I could over the last few Months but I doubt they will be restocking (what I want) at the same price. The Canadian exchange rate is a real challenge right now.
I have put off two larger orders to the UK for buildings and BV206 for the same reason.

Food/beer/pewter/6mm building etc parcels should be sent to the Government of Balzac relief fund.

You need to swap Canadian goods for micro armor.

Gentlemen, quit your ** CENSORED **'.....:-)

Try the same exchange rate & then add on the horrendous amount that it cots to get it over here to the bottom of the world..... :-(

But as someone said in another recent post, it's STILL heaps cheaper than 15mm :-)

Yeah...it's too bad the rate is bad. Kinda put me off from ordering anything of late. Sucks.
:(
I fully support the Sentry Box, but even paying that price is too much for me.

Good News.

Sentry Box in Calgary has the up to date releases in.
Also the LONG....... awaited restock of CV9040, CV90105,CV9030, Leo 2's and TPZ I've been waiting for.

Bad News.

At $16.89 a pack the tipping point has been reached.

With deep regret my first none GHQ mini order in several years has to be made.

Mick.

Your lucky to have a store that carries GHQ on the shelf.
Oh for the days I used to live in Tacoma, Washington where we had Don and Gloria's American Eagles and then the Matrix game shop. GHQ aplenty there and then.

Cheers

It's been 30 years since I was able to walk into a store and see GHQ on the wall. If they didn't have a web presence I'd never had got back into collecting.

RedLeif,

Sad to say that American Eagles went out of business about 5 or six years ago. I live in Washington and it was a dark day. Use to love going into the store and looking at the huge selection they had. I checked on the web for Matrix, looks like they are still there but did not see anything on there site for GHQ. People today are missing out on the fun of browsing. Though I shop on line from time to time, I will still go to a hobby store to look around.

I will still be using the Sentry box, it is local (175 Km round trip) and I like to support them if I can.
They still have a great amount of GHQ on hand.
Packs priced I think as and when they came in ie
A sample pk at $10.72, new packs at $16.89, new B17 $22.51 all the way to combat commands at $70.35!

Just happened that all the ones I am looking for on this weeks budget are at the new $16.89 price so a change of plan for the Balzac Army this week.
One large consolidated overseas order then next time all GHQ at home.

Don't worry GHQ, I still need my fix.

Yes Hoth, I remember when the main 'Seattle' American Eagles store closed too.The one in Tacoma was a 'branch' store and it closed a few years before the Seattle store did. I can remember making pilgrimages to the Seattle shop when it was still in Ballard (my favorite Seattle location) when I was in high school in the mid 80's. That shop had almost one of every GHQ model on display in a shop case. It was glorious. The owner had a thing for pewter and lead figures especially dragons and large scale (54mm +) nudes. What an eye opener. I think packs cost 5.95 back then.

Sorry to stray off topic.

"RedLeif, Sorry to stray off topic."

Yes, please stay on topic.

Large scale (54mm+) nudes should be posted under "Show us your terrain".
Thank you.
