This "Latin Alliance", will pose a problem to New Canadas two biggest allies in South America, Chile, and Brazil. However the NCAF is undergoing our own reforms and modernization's as well so it will be awhile before my country's military is ready to deal with this problem. However once we are done, we will be more of a threat to the EE.

Amb. Smech, of Somalia, With all the training of EE in combat situations, I fear more armed conflict. I suggest a resolution the EE cease all this aggressive warlike activities and behavior.

Santa Cruz, Bolivia
This weekend the Latin Alliance is making waves by publishing a manifesto titled “The Latin American Ascendancy”. The pamphlet is 22 pages long, and it rails against the colonial powers that have subjugated the people of Latin America, condemning them to lives of poverty and deprivation for the sole purpose of making a profit.

The Latin Alliance has been gaining influence in the region over the past year by reaching out to the working class citizens of several South American countries. Initially working in secret to avoid prosecution, the Latin Alliance is growing in power and influence. Today it is a movement that enjoys widespread popularity and is well-funded. Its leaders still operate from the shadows, but they control several political parties that are working toward the cause of a united Latin America. Other branches of the organization focus on propaganda and community outreach. Several small militias are known to operate in South America with ties to the Latin Alliance, but they are thought to be small and poorly led.

The Latin American Ascendancy is troubling to the governments of South America, not only because it challenges the political establishment, but also because it suggests that the use of force is sometimes necessary to guarantee equal access of all citizens to wealth and resources. The manifesto stops short of advocating direct military action against existing governments in the region, but not by much.

I have definite knowledge! AK-47, AR-15, M-1, revolvers, Thompson M.G., FN-FAL, M-14.
Some have access to current and former military equipment. M60, TAM, Sherman’s, M41, T-62, T-55, Leopard 1, T-72, Ty-59, Ty -69. M-113, AMX-VCI, armored cars, etc. More recent are Leopard 2, M-60A3, Chieftains, Marders, etc.
The NC better not attack them, they’d kick your butt back north of the Great Lakes.

I honestly don't recall Chieftain Tanks being used by those Central and South American nations.

I supplied some to Guyana. Suriname may have some. After all they have an Olympic Gold Medal in swimming in 1992.

Fortunately them being Militia, its expected that they will be poorly trained and have no such skills in tactics.

The RPNW is monitoring the situation with some concern. Instability in the region could impact coffee production for which The Pacific Northwest is known for.

Is the PRNW economy based upon the coffee shops there, where business is done, deal are done, marriages developed?

The economy is not based on coffee, but it does fuel the engine that runs the economy.

In a bid to rapidly modernize and expand the Navy, Karmanaskis will adopt the 1/2400 standard as used by the ROD and others.
To keep the ship building industry alive (after the loss of several commercial orders) the Government has stepped in and effectively Nationalized the industry.
This economic rescue package has seen an eye watering investment of public funding in R & D, design and production capabilities across many other areas of industry.

Much of the funding to save private companies has come with strings attached to support new infrastructure, the development of advanced local production and investment in new/emerging technologies.
These hard times have also been used to pivot toward reinforcing the commitment to ensuring security of supply for the National defence.
Whenever possible the loss or slow down in the public sector will be used to benefit the military procurement needs of the KDF for the future.

As a maritime Nation Karmanaskis is committed to regional security and the protection of our Sea lines of communication (SLOC).

It should ease off by now as I had recently cancelled my 4 carrier plan for the RCN. Plus I have been a big help for the CofC in escorting them through the Northwest passage so they can arrive at the Tankers ball safely. I just want things to calm down.
