Why does NC care what in the world KDF is doing near ROD airspace?
The CoC always cares what every other Dom.... errrr... nation is doing, doing what, doing what with whom, etc. We do not care!!

The ROD was caught off guard by the sea and air intrusions, probably due in part to the Saint Patrick’s Day activities all over the country. Alert aircraft were eventually launched, but in some cases there were significant delays. The Minister of Defense, the Honorable Magnus McHammerhands, is not pleased and several Air Force general officers have some explaining to do. No doubt the explanations will include root cause ** CENSORED ** and action plans delivered via PowerPoint.

Aircraft did launch with instructions to monitor activities in international space, and to firmly but professionally escort any unauthorized aircraft out of ROD airspace if necessary. The only caveat is in regard to activity in the north-western sector – in that area the pilots will most likely be a bit more aggressive as the Fighter Rodeo is in progress at Vulture Field and the pilots involved are in a pretty competitive mood.

This event has shed light not only on our green beer drinking habits, but also on the need for a more integrated homeland defense program. Air and sea defense assets need to be better integrated. And while we possess robust cyber and electronic warfare capability, those assets are not able to “launch” rapidly like alert aircraft are. That is something that will need to change, sooner rather than later.

Everything is fine. The EE shows how tough they are. We show how tough we are. The brass make threatening statements to the press and the troops make obscene gestures at each other. Situation is normal.

The Egyptians don't want you in their country anyway. You'll have to monitor the EE from international waters in the Med.

Redleg, in the Gator State, St. Pat's is a 3-day celebration. Only 1/3 of the force may celebrate at a time.

I like how you roll in the Gator State! As usual, we can learn a thing or two from you. One of these days we need to get some GS troops out for an exercise or depl!

You let your warship be boarded and inspected in international waters? Maybe the EE will want to inspect your ship when you get to the eastern Med. The ROD has a carrier battle group in the Med but not sure where at the moment - i will check when i get home on Saturday. The only other ROD ship in the area is in port in Alexandria at the moment.

Except submarines. There may or may not be submarines in the area.

Freedom of navigation (FON) is a principle of customary international law that ships flying the flag of any sovereign state shall not suffer interference from other states, apart from the exceptions provided for in international law.[1] In the realm of international law, it has been defined as “freedom of movement for vessels, freedom to enter ports and to make use of plant and docks, to load and unload goods and to transport goods and passengers"🤫
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Last time I checked your CBG is near Italy so we should end up crossing paths in a day or so.

The site has been updated. CVBG-11 is to the west of Italy now. Enjoy your stay in the Med.

EE launches Bear, flys down Aegean to the Mediterranean, then west. Italy sends two Eurofighter Typhoons to accompany the Bear.
Determined that there are not any large missiles.
Southwest of Sardinia two Tornadoes from Americus Island NAS to join the Bear. The Italian Typhoons return to Sicily. The Bear does a flyby on the HMCS Nunavut, circles around twice before returning to their base in Turkey.
