I think we need to come up with a better zoning system that will prevent such mixups from happening again.

What I propose is to divide the town into 3 large zones, one for each Battalion. That way we can keep things on track and not accidentally bump into each other like this and avoid Friendly fire.

you mean you didn't plan for that before you started?

Trying to get things back on track properly .

The ROD and the NC Battalions will move up from Zone 6 towards Zone 4.

And the CofC Battalion will move from Zone 7 into Zone 5.

Once this campaign is over, the NCAF will no longer participate in any more military campaigns for awhile, until it has fully regained its strength.

What? Trying to get things on track again.
Okay finishing up eliminating PAC. Small arms firefights are taking place. 3 Abrams were immobilized by the enemy, one to an AT mine, 100mm AT round in the engine causing a fire. and knocking the track off from HEAT round. 2 Bradleys lost to RPGs. 17 dead with 13 being infantry in house to house fighting. The Iraqis are doing well entering houses. Since PAC has seen the CoC bring armor, atillery, infantry into the mix, there have been reports of T-55s/Type 59 leaving, pulling out either to get another fire position or to retreat. Men have been running back as well.
. The OH-1 have spotted for the 2 AH-1 Cobras. The AH-1 have eliminated 9 enemy tanks with their Hellfire missiles. Even though there is a sense of a rout, it does not mean in that in any particular building there won't be the enemy ready to fight and die to hold the house.
. Entering Zone 5 in some areas after clearing out houses. The fight continues slowly with caution with heavy firepower.
0210 will be the beginning of the next strong advance, 'We own the morning" is our motto. Take advantage of the night vision capabilities. ,

Look at the maps, NC! Zone 6 is only 3,000 meters wide and zone 4 is even narrower. No room for 2 battalions to attack so put your vehicles in park and hold your fire.

Task Force Eagle advances across Zone 6 with guns blazing. Team Assassin is in front with 2 tank platoons. The T55s that fire on the Abrams are quickly eliminated. Some hit the ROD tanks, but the rounds glance of the heavy armor. To the west though, dismounted PAC AT teams with AT-5s fire several volleys. 2 tanks are put out of action by the AT missiles, but the remaining tanks continue through the zone. The battalion mortar platoon fires an immediate suppression mission on the AT positions, forcing the gunners to scatter. An ROD mech infantry platoons swings to the west, but the AT gunners have disappeared.

As Team Assassin reaches zone 4 the Bradleys catch up to the tanks and the infantryman dismount. 2 Infantry platoons move north, each platoon supported by a section of tanks and a squad of sappers. The Bradleys cover alleyways and intersections to keep the residential blocks segregated and keep PAC troops from moving from one street to the next. The dismounts advance methodically, clearing each building - eliminating PAC troops when they are found, but most of them are fleeing to the north. If someone shoots at the ROD infantry from a building, the sappers blow a hole in the wall and the grunts make entry from the rear. Or the tanks just blow holes in the building and set it on fire. Or both. 2 PAC BTR-70s make an appearance, but they don't last very long.

Somewhere... sumwhere over the rainbow....

My I suggest that NC send two companies south to ensure no armor exits here or Haditha. I suggest you allow all people walking or in trucks are free to leave. No armor.

Ok I'll send two companys to ensure that no PAC armor exits the area. But we should be worried about PAC troops blending into the crowd just trying to escape.

As Team Assassin works its way north-east through zone 4 they take some casualties from snipers and a few from a battle that erupts in in a hookah lounge, but TF Eagle is able to maintain the momentum of the advance. The hookah lounge was destroyed by tank fire.

Team Barbarian, following Assassin, turns left and crosses Highway 19, diving into zone 2 using the same techniques of infantry platoons supported by a tank section and a sapper squad. The platoons are working their way north-east.

Team Assassin in zone 4 is maintaining contact with Barbarian to its left and with the CoC to its right. Team Bushmaster is in zone 6 with 2 mech platoons as the task force reserve.

The battalion scout platoon has blocked Highway 19 south of zone 2 to keep traffic from entering the area.

Advance slowly through the zones. The two Iraqis companies hit part of zone 5 and zone 3. They were using some T-72, BMP 1 & 2. They started to push into zone 1. There is a video of a woman with a broom chasing 3 PAC soldiers with AKs out of her house. Rumor she had 3 children in her home.
CoC is methodically moving into zone 3 from zone 5. Firing into house when necessitated. Have fired into zone 4 when the enemy is observed firing at our positions. Our AFVs are flying the Monacodom Flag, from the House of Grimaldi, since 1339, upside (So white on top of red strip)down today on antennas. It will change tomorrow.

We at time will use the 120mm mortars with laser targeting on specific locations to eliminate the ability of PAC to fight.

Many are observed heading Out of Harlaniyah and west out of Haditha towards Syria including tanks, trucks, and cars.

Iraq
Leaflets were dropped over both towns, Harlaniyah and Haditha in Farsi and Arabic.
Surrender to live,
Retreat without weapons to live.
Carry a weapon, die.
Fight, you die.
Drive back to Syria in your truck, you live.

Iraqi Government
Coalition forces.

Fighting continued. Zone 3 cleared, in zone 1. Iraqis have cleared 90% of it.
Iraqis have crossed bridges into Haditha. Very few PAC are fighting.
A dozen T-55 on trucks were seen being taken west. AH-1 Cobras were directed there, firing on trucks with 20mm, a couple of TOWs were expended destroying tanks on the trailers. Fighting in town ended within 30 minutes. A couple of individuals fired until eliminated. Over 80 civilians lost their lives, 400 required medical attention.
.
Over a dozen trucks headed out with men on the back. No weapons were observed except for one which was fired on, killing most in the truck. 3 other trucks near by were observed with guys throwing away rifles over the side as they drove on. They were allowed to continue.

The armed conflict has ended. Iraqis government is determining what they want to do with the 150 prisoners after finger prints and pictures. Probably to be held for a week or two. Almost 300 dead PAC, 150 prisoners and those running. It is a cleanup operation at this time.
Iraq has sent out a Mi-24 Hind A and two Mi-8 Hip helicopters to observe.

Task Force Eagle evacuates their wounded and recovers their damaged tanks. An orderly handover to Iraqi forces takes place and then the troops from the ROD are free to link up with their CoC counterparts and share a smoke or some cookies from home.

ROD troops and vehicles begin to move south, making the long trek back to the Dog Pond in Saudi Arabia. Team Bushmaster will remain in Haqlaniyah for a few days to oversee the redeployment and provide a thorough handover to the Iraqis.

The NCAF Battalion heads down south to Camp Gretzky to await the arrival of the transport aircraft for the flight back to New Canada, the mission is now over. We were lucky that the ROD did not turn their guns on us.

Iraq
Of the CoC battalion, celebration, relax some. Gather up damaged equipment.
Gather captured equipment. Trucks and tank haulers will head up to Harlaniyah by highway. Then start to move back to Saudi Arabia to continue training and security of the Kingdom. (Not a Dom). This process will be slower for the return than moving into Iraq.
Medical staff will stay in area to provide medical attention to those affected or might need some assistance.
.
Goat, lamb BAR-B-Q this afternoon, this evening. Balzac Beer Plane took off 5 hours ago, expected to land soon at airport. This is not a tanker, but a C-17 carrying tanker trucks and kegs. Then they will drive to the afternoon celebration later today.

The CoC
We thought we were going to help defend NC from EE incursions by their aircraft. NC has displaced their aircraft effectively.
Now, there is confusion with Karmanaskis, NC, Graham and Eski. Karma seems to cause trouble for others. They are trying to figure out what, and who they wish to be.
