The formation was identified as a battalion of armor. After the initial helicopter attacks that destroyed a dozen armored vehicles, mostly T-80s, The Belarus Lt. Colonel moved into heavy woods to hid. He surrendered after 30-35 hours of hiding. He was requested by the Belarus military to be returned under a Courts Marshall for treason, making war, and murder. More charges are pending. The military hardware was collected, the rest of the personnel detained as POWs. Questioning will continue of the prisoners moving forward.

Finally Latviadom armored BAT arrived to secure the Belarus T-80 BAT.
