Eurasia Empire sent out from St Petersburg a naval task force with an old cruiser with 9-152 mm (6inch) guns and 3 escorts firing on the Balzac Republic (which is on the south eastern area of Sweden on the Baltic at one of our bases destroying a Visby, damaging a Visby and also hitting two warehouses that burned to the ground, a radar tower and two office buildings. Killing over 50 people and wounding over 120 as of the last report.
Balzac response initially was 6 anti-ship missiles were fired at the cruiser. 3 getting through hitting the cruiser. with minimal damage to the hull and some super-structure, with a few dozen causalities.
. As the 4 ship group sailed back to St. Petersburg Vylulu fired on Estonia Naval Base. Although they were alerted of the Eurasia group several cargo and patrol craft were hit and damaged, one was on fire and would sink later on. At this point 8 JAS-39 armed with Harpoons fired the 8 missiles at the 3 escorts 4 missiles were shot down by SAM from Kirvak II. 3 missiles hit the Kirvak II class ship, which would sink in 2 hours with fires on board. The final missile was on track for a Udaloy ASW destroyers, its CWIS destroyed the Harpoon. Estonia sent 9 Tornadoes armed with 2 Sea Shuka AS missiles each fired at the Udaloy and the Kresta, Both ships were hit taking down 9 of the inbound missiles, 5 hit the Udaloy and 3 hit the Kresta, Both are complete loses, floating for hours, as crews abandoned ship in boats and rafts. The SH-60 helicopters showed each armed with two Penguin AS missiles, smaller than the Harpoon, with a published range of 15 miles. 2 F-16 armed for SEAD fired HARM hitting radar and tower, knocking that and communications out.
A few miles behind it these were the 4 F-16 with 6 1000 lb bombs, of which some had laser and targeting pods align. 14 bomb hit creating a temporary conflagration until the ship sunk with ammo magazine in the bow, blowing open a large hole in the starboard hull and bottom of the hull, sinking it.

Out of Balzac Republic 3 Visby craft and 2 LCS ships sortied into the Baltic. There were not any ships from Eurasia Impire within sight nor on radar within 50 miles. JAS-39 Grippin flew patrol in a wider area.
. Later, southeast of the Balzac Republic, a Lafayette Class SSGN was west of Latvia by 58 miles, northwest of Riga by 70 miles, in the Baltic, the sub fired 14 Tomahawk cruise missiles. the headed north, then turning east with a slight northerly track, moving along 562 miles an hour..... then turning south east heading towards St Petersburg.... targeting St. Pete Naval Base. The missiles were hitting warehouses, two hit a tanker in port onloading fuel makeing a large, VERY Large fireball, which travel up the hoses and pipeline to the fuel storage tanks. Large explosion on shore. In the warehouses, furniture, food stuffs, cabinets, office supplies, computers, paint, etc.
. A Tomahawk hit a Slava at the pier destroying the bridge. Another hit a survey ship tied up in from of an admin. building. The last Tomahawk that hit a valuable military target hit the port command and administrative building.

Balzac republic sent out two more Visby patrol craft to join the first Visby on patrol to look at the PROC ship as they transit the Baltic Sea heading west. Took lots of pictures as these ships are unknown to us.
Balzac electronic detection unit was receiving and evaluating the transmissions, radar, etc. An LCS left port and was to follow the ships out to capture acoustic signature of the ships for the data base. Then to pass on the info to allies.

Balzac Republic in the Baltic Sea
Sent out 3 Viggin, a large fighter/attack plane Sweden retired years ago, each carrying 1 SLAM and 1 Harpoon A anti-ship missile. They were escorted by 4 Grippin, JAS-39 B aircraft. The Viggin fired their missiles into St Petersburg Naval Base to hit ships and infrastructure. The air group flew over a Visby patrol boat and a Spruance Class destroyer used by Balzac Republic and then a Type 23 Frigate on sentry duty. The Viggins fired the SLAMs at Maintenance & Rework buildings. The Harpoons targeted ship cruiser, destroyer, frigate silhouettes. flying at 15 feet height above the water the SLAMs hit and a few moments later two Harpoons hit a Kresta II, which sank at its moorings. The other Harpoon struck the earthen embankment protecting the port from waves, and now from anti-ship missiles.
.
4 hours later, Eurasian Su-24 carrying ground attack missiles flew into Finland airspace and launched 4 missiles in retaliation into Balzac Naval Yard, a missile totally destroying a Visby, another hit and sank a Type 23 Frigate, The 4 other missiles were targeted to the destroyer and Frigate in the Baltic Sea, both sank. the Visby picked up 83 survivors. Helicopters came out and were able to find and rescue others. Over 50 were recovered, identification will be an issue for some of those.
.
8 hours after the Eurasian attack, the General Secretary of the UIN called asking if CoC would and could bring the armed conflict to an end. Neither side is planning to occupy and conquer the other. The CoC is agreeable to cease military action. The Eurasia is as well. The UIN Ambassadors will sign agreement to cease military operations against each other immediately, within 30 minutes. No remuneration will take place. Any personnel will be exchanged at nearby Embassy to the location of the personnel.
.
The conflict ends.

Finland is demanding that Eurasia accept a resolution of condemnation from the UIN for violating their airspace for military operation for an attack on Balzac Republic. Balzac Republic is demanding 1B Euros for compensation for utilizing another country for their attack, causing loss of civilian life.

Balzac Republic
"Viggins and Grippins fly from Balzac to Iceland to Greenland. 8 tanker aircraft are in the air group along with 8 C-160 support aircraft. This is strictly a training exercise that had been planned for weeks."
In private conversation from the Defense Minister to the CoC Navy Chief of Operations," the visit to Greenland was on the drawing board in a week, we just moved it up and sent them to Greenland. What do you think will happen Admiral?"
The CoC CNO replied, "I do not know, it is up to the Canadians, not sure about them boarding our ship in international waters, are we sure it was, please take the lead on this Sven, find out. Okay???" His reply, "it was in international waters, the LCS is pretty fast, the Canadian ship had to be in international waters already, we are going over the other data, radar and satellite info, I will let you know."

The Viggin, Grippins and support planes were turned around and landed in Icelanddom. Have planes looked over, fueled then back to Balzac for a week.
Next week, the Viggins and Grippins will be conducting anti-air, air-defense, surface search and anti-ship mission and the search for rescue of downed pilots. A few pilots will be dropped in the water. There will be a Naval Combat team in an ocean green/gray color raft about 200 yards away if something should happen, they will have communication equipment as needed including smoke, flare, dye, and their thermal swimming gear.

The Balzac Republic would like to send on behalf of the CoC a tanker full of Avitar Brew (still working on copyrights on the name with YB). 6 different flavors. We can fly it in or send 600 kegs to you by ship, for appreciation of the Canadian diplomacy in the naval encounter. Please let us know which is best for you.

The pilots and crews and enjoying working together, meeting the pilots and crews of other nations. Sharing experiences, sharing ideas, work-a-rounds. All to keep the planes flyin'.
The purpose of the Fighter Rodeo is to learn, to improve skills, to work together, to share ideas and experiences then take those back to the fleet or air base they came from.
.
Great Rodeio. Balzac Beer Tanker #2 should be landing at Vulture Field within the hour.
Still about 18% of the beer on Balzac Beer Tanker 747.

Balzac Republic General McHammer (not McHammerhead) is upset that Balzac Republic Beer Tanker is connected to disturbances at the Fighter Rodeo.
The Balzac pilots and crew are not toasting ROD evaluation and conclusion. We are toasting all other suggestions.
The final Beer Tanker, a 737-200 is flying in, expect to land Friday morning, local time.
