I uses to paint the flt deck's black but now looking at a lot of current pic it's look more like a dark gray?
Is this correct?

The answer is... it depends. When freshly painted and wet from sea spray etc. it looks like a very dark charcoal. As it weathers from use and the sun it fades to a much lighter shade. So essentially any medium to very dark gray is possible. While true black is not really accurate that's the way I've done mine (but that may change). Hope that helps.

Those look great to me. The last looks like GHQ. Who makes the other two?

Superior models made the other two.
They make most of the other US carriers GHQ doesnt make.

So, I took the plunge. I'm stripping and repainting all my carriers. There are only 16 so it shouldn't take too long. I'm also working on making my own decals for the elevators etc I'll keep you posted..
