Is someone going send in a Nuke? That is a port and fleet. Do you think that the carriers, the navy have any air power? Do they have an Air Force? Hope not....

Getting that old radar up is kinda slow but a F-14 was sent after the spy plane.
The whole fleet been in mothballs for 20 + years

Yes, CHI ship building Industry made these ships over 20 years ago.
Just finished sea trials and commission in Imperial Fleet
The Navy is just started to active it's mothball fleet
so Ice breakers have to wait.

Interesting question; in addition to three catapults forward notice five deck-edge elevators and no visible superstructure.

It's a fantasy super carrier. I think it's based on a artist conceptual drawing if I remember correctly. On the other hand maybe not.
I must have made all the scratch build ships over 10+ years ago. This stuff been sitting around for years.

I'm not a naval person, but those are very well done photos. Very creative and its good to see something different.

Yes, there are a lot of fanciful carrier designs on the internet. Few provide any hope of being even slightly functional and fewer still offer any advantage over current designs. Lay people, i.e. people who are not naval architects, carrier sailors, or any sailors for that matter, have little appreciation for the interior volume of a carrier that is consumed by the machinery needed to have deck edge elevators or catapults or arresting gear. If four is good five must be better. Not enough room? Make the ship bigger. Ship handling considerations are irrelevant. Add to this manpower, stores, spares etc.

I'm not saying that 75+ years of naval aviation means the evolution of the carrier has reached the only sound solution. There probably are efficiences that could be gained. I personally think a layout like that one though would be very difficult to operate effectively.

Nations built larger and more BB based sea battles of WWI .
