Under going sea trials about 90% complete
Only one projected in its class
Project started over 10 years ago but rushed into service after recent bombing of CHI arms factories by a unknown enemy.
More details to follow but known to be equipped with
Nuclear power
Has 4 Retractable LaWS
Front VLS
4 EMALS

Thanks!, started it a long time ago but finished finally.
Flight deck looks too small now. I should have used a plane for scale
Still need paint on some deck details

Very nice, I remember seeing a 1/350 scale one being built on the net sometime ago. Was that you? That was a really big boat! (36-46")
I had considered a smaller version with Saab Gripens / UAV's along with Visby Class escorts. No longer have plans for any air-group but would have been nice to have.
Working on an older HMS Fearless look a like kind of tub right now (19" is big enough).

Your pics make me want to get into naval gaming/modeling....
It also seems like scratchbuilding 1/2400 warships would really benefit from the advantages of 3D modeling/printing.

The design seems to ignore the angled deck solution to on-deck storage of ready aircraft (yes, I see the space off to the sides, but it seems inadequate). And given the trend toward VTOL/STOL, why no ski-ramp.
Not criticism. I admire the effort at scratch-building. Just curios about your concept of operations for this carrier.

I saw a 1/350 model (not complete) on the net some time/years ago.
At the same time there was a bit of a debate about making carrier operations more stealthy.
There was one interesting write up by what seemed to be a US Navy type (GW1 & 2) operator who went into a bit of detail.
Most of the stealthy designs banded about looked along the same lines and most opted for NO (or very minimal) on deck storage.
Main deck was for recovery, the side decks for take off with cats.
I recall one with a ski jump. All seemed too big to me for any real stealth benefit.
The general outcome was there was not any advantage at the time compared to normal big top carries just doing what they do.
There was only the cool factor.
The submarine aircraft carrier ever more so.

I only wish. Not sure if I can make stuff in a large scale. I don't have to patience to spend that much time
