Great news, most deck decals are now available again (and all will be at some point in the near future). Tanner Simmons is the creative genius behind them, I produced them for three years and now Dan Arute is producing and selling them from his website. These are GHQ approved decals and are available for nearly every WWII Carrier GHQ produces (multiple versions of most) and most modern helicopter decks as well. Dan's website is not 100% complete, but it looks great. These are by far the best and easiest way to finish your carriers to a high standard. Thanks Tanner and Dan!

Carrier Deck Decals available again
This is excellent news!
I'm glad you guys could work something out. Thanks Dan for taking on the challenge!
Since I stocked up heavily from Brad when he was wrapping up I am pretty well set with the existing stock. I am however very interested in future releases. The full Modern Carrier Decks sound intriguing. I also have a great & growing need for Modern JMSDF and Soviet Helo pad decals. A LCS Freedom decal would be nice too.
Thanks again Brad, welcome back to just being a hobbyist!

alphaco great site
I'm wondering why you have Hiyo and Junyo with the escort carriers? Both were considered fleet carriers as they could carry D3A 'Val' divebombers. IJN CVLs could only carry fighters and torpedo bombers as the Val did not have folding wings and their elevators were to small to allow use by the D3A.
Also do you have access to non camouflaged deck decals for Hiyo and Junyo? They were important in the late 1942 carrier battles.

Dragon 6,
Thank you! The site is still very much a work in progress. Been very busy as of late at the place that actually pays me to show up and do stuff...and then there is that pesky 8 year old...
Not sure where you are seeing them listed as CVLs? The decal photo sheet has them (to your point) listed as CVs even though they were liner conversions? IJN28 is the standard (non camo) deck. If you can let me know in email as I don't want to violate any GHQ Forum protocols I would grateful.

Those decals are simply amazing. I was kinda reluctant to get into 1/2400 naval miniatures, simply because I felt that I'd never be able to get my carriers to look good.
Then I got my hand on some of the last decals of the old batch on ebay last december and started into GHQ naval miniatures. Now I'm the proud owner of 91 painted ships, including 7 carriers and 11 Battleships.
It's great that you guys are continuing the decals line. Ranger, Independence, Hermes, all you Ess.ex-Class ships, Langley, and all the others I missed, here I come.
