Storage trays

I just picked up three storage trays to try out at Walmart. They are Mainstays Small Cookie Sheets. 88 cents a piece. No, they are not stackable and not deep enough to protect antennas. I'm working on a solution for that, but they are good start. You MIGHT stack them in alternate directions, but if you use antennas, they will be squashed. It is a start, and the first solution I've come across.

Plan is to either spray a textured paint on the floors or put fine sandpaper in 'em to simulate motor pool concrete, otherwise the tanks will slide around like bumper cars.

Storage options?

Yeee...eah... for storage. Didn't I say "storage trays" right off?

Well, I don't have to transport my collection anywhere for a war game. I just like to paint 'em, line 'em up, and display 'em in battalion-sized units. Each pan will hold a US battalion in its own little motor pool.

They work for me. Maybe not for you. If it turns out not to work, I've only spent two dollars and sixty-four cents, plus tax for three of 'em, and they ARE BAKING pans. My wife makes REALLY GOOD CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES! No harm, no foul!

Panzergator,

If you like displaying your stuff in lined up like they are in a motor pool, I sent you a PM about something you might be interested in.. Or email me and I will fill you in.
