Re: PolishGI’s Working Thread (WWII & Vietnam)
Random American pieces for North Afrika… I need to take more pics of these guys… Halftracks, Shermans, Lees and Stuarts.
Recently picked up some Vietnam AFVs and will start to get through them at some point.
Vulcans…
As part of the Top Gun movie rollout, a friend of mine bought me the F-14 Tomcat, F-18 Hornet and the P-51 Mustang to build. The idea (I presume) was to get me moving again and building/painting something. So this carried over into me putting together some German aircraft which are a WIP

Re: PolishGI’s Working Thread (WWII & Vietnam)
And then I got some wild hair up my ____ and decided to printed of a bunch of 1/100 scale AFVs. My brother games in that scale and taunted me to see what I could do or what quality I could print these vehicles in… So I made a few and have begun the stages of painting them. Im hoping, time permitting, to print additional items to throw on the vehicles like weapons, helmets, gas cans, sacks, tarps, sleeping bags etc.
My brother printed this for me… I figured I could get a better resolution out of my printer.

Awesome work, creation and painting. Like the antennas, certainly on the M-163 Vulcan.
Looks great, thank you for sharing, showing us.

Great looking Planes, especially HS-129s. Sherman came out well too. Admire how busy you’ve been!
For US North Africa are you going to add a layer of dust or some pigments as a final touch? Doing Stuarts as well?

Re: PolishGI’s Working Thread (WWII & Vietnam)
Thank you Pete. I find keeping myself busy is the best approach. Lol Thank you.
Thanks Burt! Ideally yes.
Below are some of the pics from my American North Africa vehicles. Still need to add decals… will probably go with the white decals over the yellow. (are yellow available?) But still unsure…
And need to figure out a path for adding dust/sand/pigments to each model. Not totally happy with my initial pass that I had to clean up.
Tried to bring out the brass rounds on the halftracks.

PolishGI - Great looking helicopters. I like the OD you've used and the panel accents. Welcome back.
