PolishGI - Great looking helicopters. I like the OD you've used and the panel accents. Welcome back.
Begemot
Thank you Begemot! I need to keep with that OD shade as I like it too. Even thinking about going back and stripping all of my helicopters and redoing them.

Really great work there Polish - you’re crushing it! I’m painting some German gliders now but I think I got the shade of green wrong. I really don’t want to strip and repaint so I may just stumble forward with them.,,

Times like these that I know I do not like myself… lol This is only 150 of my current infantry list to work through… I think I have around 500-550 more to go… but this is the bulk of my US infantry for North Africa. Only remaining items will be the artillery crews. I thought about sneaking them in, but I have two packs of US artillery crews to do, one for Africa and one for Europe.
I plan on airbrushing these guys tonight with a base coat of Field Drab. Then begin work on the detailed items tomorrow night. In fact, need to make sure I have some sort of leather color. hehe

That is certainly a lot of infantry in progress, Polish GI! It looks like you have a lot to keep yourself busy for a while. I too have a lot of infantry "in progress". The sad part is that some of them have been "in progress" for a few years now.

Painting progress, no matter how little or unexciting, is always a good thing. Right now I am "slogging through" the camo on my Panther Ds. Sometimes it is just tedious but rewarding in the end. Keep up the good work, Polish GI!

Those are some really great looking grunts Polish! Do you base them for a specific rule set?

Good eye! The Mustang is a third model in a set that someone close to me purchased for me to start working/building again. It coincided with the release of the new Top Gun movie. This person purchased the F-14 Tomcat for me to build. Then I built the F-18 Hornet… now it is the P-51 Mustang’s turn. It appears to have worked as I am building/painting again. For that, I will always be thankful.

Hi redleg, thank you! It is amazing how many colors you can place on a 6mm individual. And then multiply that over and over again 150 times. Hehe I do! I have played this game for a long time.
I am trying to build up the gusto to lay down a map and battle something out. Pete has inspired me. lol

Great looking infantry, Polish GI! I really don't mind helping to inspire anyone. Sometimes it is me that gets inspired by seeing others work here and elsewhere. Keep up the good work!
