Unless, these Eurasians are from the Egypt Security Zone, the NC troops will move to the YB international airport for a closer look.

This is the same Imperial Marine unit that fought in Egypt, flying out of an air base on the outskirts of Tripoli. They have a small compound adjacent to the airport, but the airport is still operating normally. The Eurasian Empire is leasing land for military bases, they are not occupying the country or forcing entry.

As always SYB is only thinking of staying in power and keeping hold of YB City at all cost.
He had a few beers on Friday and it seemed like a good idea, The NC forces are not much use as a shield, the EE pay way better and have more kit.

The AN-12's prob came in over the Sahara, the Maghreb (the Med, Atlantic being a ploy). Most of the weapons sold to YB come in over the Maghreb.
A lot of the illegal shipments are from "Doms" that want the cash and Monaco has no idea what most of it's new colonies are really doing!

The veneer of a CofC union is very, very thin.
Just as this pandemic has shown, when push comes to shove National interest will always come first.
Doms are hording, closing borders to each other, refusing to send troop ( Nigeria-dom is holding all troop movements for 2 weeks). and thing go missing (Democratic Republic of Congo-dom has misplaced 50,000 rifles).
The CofC, Collection of Colonies is weaker than many think.

So you abandon my NC forces, for my arch enemy the EE. This will not stand.

And since these marines are the same ones i fought in Egypt I will have my revenge over the defeat at Suez City, where hundreds of brave soldiers died trying to take the city from the EE.

It is the same division that you lost your ** CENSORED ** to in Suez City. There is a single reinforced battalion on the ground in YBC at the moment. There may be more in the way though - an Imperial Navy task force departed Libya yesterday and is heading west through the Mediterranean.

Crap, I may have to fight my way out of Yer Bouti when it comes to the Eurasians. I'll have to come up with an escape plan.

Mech, EE are in Yer Bouti as guests to help secure the Country just as NC is.
If you behave there is no reason for anything to change. Yon may still have access to a port and maybe even the occasional flight in and out of the airport.
You agreed to the temporary deployment of your troops to Butlins.
The EE has agreed to base troops in YB City.

SYB still has control over the city and most towns. It's just some of the countryside that has attracted squatters.

Well you kinda invited the wrong guests as we fought aginest them in Egypt during the Suez Campaign, things will get ugly real soon when those Imperial marines find out that the NCAF is here. Beware these EE guys will rob Yer Bouti blind.

In the Mediterranean Sea.
Frigates on picket duty in active air search. Tripol, Tunisadom, the air base is on active radar search. F-4 Phantoms are on 5 minute alert to move to protect the air space. Mauritania-dom is in similar operational status.
Any illegal military flights will be warned to turn around or land as directed. If not they will be shot down.
.
In YB, if NC needs any assistance, just ask. Logistics included.

The NCAF forces in Yer Bouti are being redeployed to help the people in Sierra Leone and Liberia in the efforts to stabilize their countries, they will may their way back to the ships at port in YBC, from their the RCN task force will link up with a supply convoy already approaching Sierra Leone.

However the Helicopter carrier Sliver Dart will help evacuating the NC Embassy workers in YBC in response to the betrayal done by Sheik Yer Bouti for allowing our enemies the Eurasian Empire into his fractured country.

Minehead, YB
With the surprising airlift of RU aircraft into YB, the discussion with Sierra Leone and Liberia has become more relaxed. The CoC communicate a different message letting those leaders of each country know that if they wished to become member of the Commonwealth, we would be willing to discuss those possibility.
. With that in mind, the men from Nigeria-dom, Congo-dom, Ethiopia-dom are all arriving on the border with YB and Mauritania-dom. Within days the military force in the area will be over 120,000, excluding forces in West Sahara and south of YB on the border. Most of the men are logistics and support units. Heavy tank transporters are offloading AMX-30 B2 tanks, AMX-10P AIFV along with air defense equipment.
. The first battalion that had arrived previously was ordered by their Bat CO to move toward Ayr, Escort by the recon and MP units already in place. One AMX-30 company and 2 AMX-10P companies with truck borne infantry company. This unit is getting worked up by their Capt, young officer, guys ready to 'get it done'. 3 AMX-13 AA with twin 20mm, with towed 20mm and towed 40mm Bofors.

*Last few years power reduced by a Western leaning Parliament of dubious credibility.

Yer Bouti is an enclave on the North Western African coast.
Somewhat of an oddity it is often overlooked or missed off completely from modern maps.
Sitting within what is now the Western Sahara (Greater Bouti) the enclave was used as a port in the 1700's but was never favored by the colonial powers at the time.
At that time the area was never seen as having that much to offer and was pasted over by Spain and most others.
Some mid east influence made its way to the area and surprisingly British from the late 1700's.
The Duke of Southend-on-sea sailing to the new World with many women on-board got lost and was shipwrecked.
Many survived and stayed despite the harsh environment but they effected the local dialect, this hindered trade with the rest of region.
Displaced Sheikh's from the East and girls from Southend with their wisdom left it's mark on the area.
Some say this held back development of Yer Bouti for hundreds of years.

Marginal land on a small coastal plain around an inlet.
Rugged almost impassable highlands in the North and desert to the East.
There is history of a Sheikhdom from 1820 until today ruled almost continuously by the Zappa Clan.

The general area is disputed by Moroccodom a member of the Commonwealth of Chrisdom.

Armed Foces overview.
Yer-Bouti has a smaller military than its neighbors. However, its security stops against foreign incursions. In reforming the Yer-Boutian Army, most of the available attention and financial resources have been directed to the development of the Land Forces. Clashes with the rebel and CofC forces, in 2008, demonstrated the superior nature of the Yer-Boutian forces training and skills, but also highlighted the fact that the small military would be unable to counter the larger, if less well-motivated forces of its neighbours.

The fight against the Al-Kabab has at least temporarily swelled the ranks of the Yer Bouti army, with retired personnel being recalled, but the military’s size and capabilities are much reduced since the 1990s. As a result of tensions with neighbors during the 1980s and early 2002, the Yer Bouti Army refined existing strategic concepts and eventually formulated a plan to restructure its forces. Though wars were avoided, the threats from the 1980s and 2008 encouraged the army to address more effectively its major defense disadvantage: lack of strategic depth. Thus in the early 2000s it looked outward for a model of army organization that would best advance defensive capabilities by restructuring forces into smaller, more mobile units instead of traditional divisions.

Organization.

Feb 2018 its main known units are:

One armoured regiment (YB City, comprising a reconnaissance squadron, three armoured squadrons
Four infantry regiments (each comprising infantry/militia companies and a support company)
One rapid reaction regiment (comprising infantry companies and a support company)
One Guard regiment (YB City)
One artillery regiment (YB City)
One AA company
One Engineer/demining company
One signals regiment
One computer and information systems section
One logistics regiment
One maintenance company
Five PMU's (Militia, Popular Mobilization Units) one in each tribal land.
