Northern Dominion of Alberta Imagi-Nation

Greating Imagi-Nations from the Noble ruler of the Northern Dominion of Alberta, a aristocratic run breakaway nation formed from the Northwest part of Canada.

Being in a Prairies we tend to be mostly agricultural, but we do have oil as our major industry.

Our Military mostly uses Weapons and equipment that mostly dates from World War 1 to Modern day, so its not uncommon to see things like Dreadnought BattleShips, and M4 Shermans in service though these are heavily modified and mass produced for today's warfare.

We have no pre-dreadnaugts, as for aircraft we mostly rely on modern jets and some ww2 aircraft in our air force. but the NDA is known for one particular innovation one that will change warfare forever, which you will see soon when your UIN people arrive.

And you will see more of the NDA Navy, as where currently performing a Naval Blockade of the Outboard Islands, in an attempt to annex it for our nation, its location is critical for the navy as a good stopping place for our warships and aircraft to refuel, repair and rearm. once its annexed the islands will soon be purchased by new land owners as luxury resorts for the upper class, except for Evinrude Island as that will be owned by the Navy.

Our HQ ship NDAS Pioneer a converted Luxury liner is stationed off the coast of the Outboard Islands as the command center of the whole Blockade fleet parked along side it are the 3 Trafalgar class subs NDAS Walleye, NDAS Coho, NDAS Northern Pike. and the Iron Duke class Battle Ship NDAS Somme.

Resolution proposal by the Northwest Territory to the UIN.
Whereas the NDA is enforcing a blockade upon part of the Northwest Territory named the Outboard Islands,
Whereas this is an act of war and the Northwest Territory is a Peace loving country, and
Whereas this blockade is against rules of Law and of Maritime & Admiralty Law,
Therefore be it resolved that the Northern Dominian of Alberta immediately cease and desist this blockade.
Further resolved, the Northwest Territory is willing to allow passage of the waterway to the sea, permitting safe travel, allowed inspections of ships transiting the waterway, accepting the laws of the NW Territory.

This was passed by Maritime Committee of Commerce 13-7 in favor.
Submitted to the UIN General Assembly.

When the Southwest Airlines plane carrying the envoys from the CoC and the U.I.N landed in the NDAs Capital City's airport they where greeted by M4 Shermans, Leopard 2s and M113 APCs from the NDA army escorting a motorcade, but beside the vehicles comes 4 giant walking machines like something from a Sci-Fi movie. stepping out of the APC's and lined in a row to salute them are the NDA soldiers along with infantry wearing heavily armored suits. coming out of the motorcade is the NDAs main ruling family, the leader of the NDA said to the envoys "Welcome to the NDA".

Chief Hara leading the delegation to the NDA. "Thank you for the warm welcome, this is a surprise. I was expecting to cars to the hotel and then visit. Thank you so much."

. "Also, the ambassador to the UIN informed me of a resolution by the NW Territory and some islands that you want use of. Does this go through the NW Territory? How far are we from the ocean? I did not check a map, just book a flight. What is all the heavy armor for, your escort is wearing body armor, are you expecting trouble?"

"Those 4 walking Machines are not robots there giant 1 manned walking machines with firepower greater then a tank column. its one of our greatest scientific innovations for the military,. "As for the Outboard islands we have intended to use the islands as a Major stopping point for our Navys warships traveling across the Northern part of the Pacific ocean from our main bases located in Vancouver, Victoria, Kitamat, and Campbell River as well with our Arctic bases in Lancaster Sound. but the NW Territory thought they own the islands, they do not, as we said earlier we do not want the U.I.N to interfere with our Blockade as that's part of the annexation effort, and will use force if necessary to maintain our established sovereignty".

There's been a serious incident at the Outboard Islands recently a V Class Car ferry from Johnson Island was used by the local people as a makeshift Destroyer armed with weapons of Japanese and Russian origin from WW2, it fired a broadside of Katyusha Rocket launchers and Type 89 15cm guns at the Tribal class Destroyer NDAS Grimshaw while she was out on a patrol the two ships exchanged fire but the Grimshaws RGQF 4 inch guns got the best of the converted car ferry and she capsized and sank, the survivors where picked up and taken into custody they will be sent to the HQ ship NDAS Pioneer to be questioned.

After weeks of blockading the Outboard islands, Mercury and Mariner Island have since been successfully annexed and its now part of the NDA, Meanwhile Violent Protests broke out near the NWT government building on Evinrude island in response to both the Government and the U.I.N's ineptitude to cease the NDAs blockade and annexation process, it came to the point that the islanders broke into the local armory and stole there weapons and vehicles and commandeered the NWTs Warships in the harbor determined to take the fight to the NDA in there own hands.

Another expansionist, capitalist, elitist nation. PROG pledges to peacefully coexist with this new nation but will keep one eye on their intentions. We are not surprised the CofC is interested in friendship with them. The freedom loving peoples of PROG welcome the easing of tensions worldwide.

The CofC is always interested in Peace, economic trade and ways to maintain and improve the environment. The Commonwealth did not expect that the Outboard Islands would be annexed nor need to be annexed by NDA. We are surprised that the island group was part of the NWT. NDA had made a claim that it was not part of the NWT.

We are surprised about the parade of the walking robats/vehicles that can wardoff 105mm gun rounds. Just need to find the metal/polymer composition for the tanks to make them immune with the thicker armor package to AP and HEAT rounds. Sound like propaganda from the manufacturer. Even the Russian Su57 is being withdrawn, since the claims were excessive.
