The GHQ M60A2 model

My first pack of new sculpt M60A2s has arrived. I have said before I was not happy with the model depicted in the catalogue picture. The gun was disproportioned and the cupola too big.

Now that I have the actual model, you all have to know that this is an excellent cast. In actuality, the cupola and gun both look great and the whole thing looks, as did the original, like the real thing shrunken to 1/285th size. We must overlook, for the sake of just economy, that there is no CBSS bulge in the rear hull and the travel lock is still on the rear back deck. Scrape the latter off if you must. Same for the hinges on the air cleaner box to make the top-loading air cleaners. The gun IS a little bit off, but can be overlooked. All told, it is a magnificent model and I'd like to thank GHQ for bringing it back and doing a real bang-up job on it. I suppose now I must add another 54-tank M60A2 battalion to the three I already have. I am looking forward to it.
