A good Idea would be to make a separate Imagi-Nations Forum page then move all the threads there.

Yea it kinda sucks that theres no pics of whats happening, though in some cases its due too not having the models to show, like my one of my fictional ships NDAS Chickadee is based on the post war Majestic class carrier HMCS Bonaventure, I have yet to find a mini of it. hopefully the new update to this website would fix this.

So Im thinking will save the Imagi-Nations stuff for another forum page and leave this for more real stuff.

C'mon, Guys. Just how much "real stuff" is going on in this forum these days. The imaginations are NOT running ANYBODY off. There just aren't enough "real" contributions. And probably aren't gonna be. And unless it gets easier to to post pics, we aren't gonna see 'em. Imagi-nations are easily identified in the thread. If you don't want to read them, skip'em. At the moment, there isn't anything else BUT imagi-nations, though.

I, for one, an not going to post about things I don't know anything about, so I'm kinda tapped out for factual things. I have squeezed EVERYTHING out of my brain about M60A2s, Cold War organizations and equipment, and Cold War camouflage schemes.

I will try to consolidate a couple of references and post them.

I think that Imagi-nations should actually have to own what they say they have. I, for instance, have a battalion that is short one company, so I shouldnt be able to claim I have that full battalion. No "notional" forces. If you don't have naval or air assets, you cant play them. I dont claim to have a navy because I don't, nor do I have air. If you want to transport troops across an ocean by sea or air, you have to invest in the stuff to do it. You can also build it. But you cant just say you have it. Once it is easy to post pics again, you have to post the pics to prove it.

And I dont believe I have been impolite in my contributions on this subject.

plus a Imagi-Nation does have its benefits as you can use millitary units that in real life where never put into combat or never got past the design stages like the Avro Arrow, or the TSR-2.

I have exaggerated some of my numbers. For example, when the CoC said we sold 3-4 dozen A-4, we didn’t t really. I do have 18-24 of then. Ships...I have them in 1/2400 or 1/350 or similar scale, not all the numbers, I.e. but I only have on Canberra, not 2. Have two Illustrious Class carriers, not 3. When I have posted number of tanks,APCs, I have reduced my numbers or provided numbers in a particular camo pattern/color. I haven’t posted pics in some time, few years.
I hope the storylines I’ve posted have been suitable and entertaining.

And they were entertaining indeed, hoping to continue with the other Imagi-Nation i made the Maritimes Federation.

If people want to keep the forum going, its simple - post pictures. I us imageshack and it’s been easy.

I come here largely for inspiration and to learn new modeling techniques ... because this forum is about GHQ models. While having discussions about TOE etc is interesting, I think the majority of folks want that eye candy. So regardless of the topic, post pics if you want to keep this thing alive.

I find this forum still worthwhile and there are many folks who contributed to make it so. Cama, Mech, and PolishGI just posted some great pics - this is the way to go.

That's why PROG doesn't engage in military adventurism. My forces are tiny (1 helo, 14 modern MBTs [I still don't know where Charlie went] and about 50 APCs) aren't much of a threat except maybe to the Rhode Island National Guard. And my paint jobs aren't very good, especially compared to CAMA and Polish G.I. My WWWII collection is larger but with a flat looking PROG green, they just don't look very good either. I will try to post pics of my WWII Germans in their unrealistic cammo. They at least look neat.

I agree that we should post more "real" content along with our "fun" stuff. It does need more balance. If we move the Imaginations to their own folder, I'd be cool with that.

PanzerGator, you are polite and nice to everyone.... except me, you pick on me and my CoC, we have no territorial demands. Actually, You are nice, very nice. Go Gators. (I am going to the game Saturday).
On Cama's comment on the unit/pieces being actually yours, good point. PICS: aughhhhh.

Now Chris, my father taught me you should criticize the act or incident rather than the person. If you look back, you will see my comments have been directed at the BEHAVIOR and ACTIONS of CofC and the U.I.N, but never at you, personally. It is your actions that earn my comments.

Go, Gators! I will enjoy the game in my soft chair, air conditioning, latrine and fridge only steps away, in only my wife's enthusiastic company. No crowds, no traffic, no evening humidity and heat. But have a good time at the game!!

Just to try and clean my many wayward wanderings up.
I plan to keep most of my Imagi-nation posts to the UIN thread.

I'll just use the YB post If I have new photos of my GHQ kit or terrain to add.
